    Just bought a 07 lbz and it needs all new front end suspension. You made it look like a car guy can do the job himself. Thanks for the video.

    Not torquing the axle nut to the correct spec is why I went through so many bearings. I was way over tightening them and crushing the bearing and going through them one after another

      Same here. 3 wheel bearings before I figured out that you could pinch that bearing.

    I had no idea you could preload, then torque wheel bearings with an impact gun.

    The control arms look sick. I don't have to worry about them though with the solid axle. What are you thoughts on the suggestions on the ctrl arm install video about getting a new spindles and taking off the ctrl drop brackets?

    I'm pretty sure I read these bearings are Timken bearings. Only Kryptonite has a lifetime warranty. But since the cost is so much more they can afford to eat the cost if it fails outside of the Timken original warranty. I just bought the Timken ones from Rockauto. I'm pretty sure the box was labeled made in the USA too. I think it cost me $300 or so for both including shipping.

      What about precision hub assembly?

    • @bradschaefer6422
      @bradschaefer6422 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I just bought a precision from oreilly for 280 including tax. It was my only option as I need the truck to be running Monday. I also ordered a kryptonite and it's suppose to be here 5-10 days. The precision box says made in China. Thinking about winging it on the bad bearing for the next week and then out the kryptonite on.

  • @jordankidwell6658
    @jordankidwell6658 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Hey buddy, I love your rims, and the truck looks amazing, it’s awesome you actually focus on the internal components on the truck more than the external, that shows that you really care about the truck. But, with that being said, I think it would look great if one of the next external things you get are some bigger rims, the stance would look so much meaner, the offset is great though! Anyways, just thought I’d share my opinion, I love the work man! Been watching for a while, keep up the great work!
