God, the way you visualize the dulcimer tremolos, those synth hits, the voice, the noise sweeps, those percussion instruments near the beginning, all of it is such a perfect match to the sound. *Oh and also you did it in Line Rider*

That takes some serious precision man, has to be lined up perfectly with the frame rate, and that has to be done with a calculation of the distance between the lines and the projected speed of the "Rider" at that point in a free fall. Idk how there ppl do these things, but there's clearly some automatic calculator involved.

It may be a case of determining an adequate line set, calculating that set, and cloning it to fill the screen for a frame, and use that framework for the rest. Lots of manual work, lots of trial and error, and many hours were clearly sunk into this project. Very clearly a passion piece and a work of art.
This is ridiculously awesome. The whole track has a coherent theme, it's synced so well to the music. It all flows so well, and is a ton of fun to watch. Dang! Excellent work. I love how the shape backgrounds ripple to the beat, and how each instrument has it's own aesthetic that goes with it. Super cool

Okay I literally have watched this about 78 times now and I love it more every time I watch it. Everything has such subtle detail to it and it is crafted wonderfully. The imagery is perfect, complex but simple.

Can I just add I noticed a pattern with the hexagon part? starts with simple left right left right, then its circling around a middle, then its middle, one corner, middle, another corner, etc. fancy.
This is an eye popper of a video. Never seen something this detailed in line Rider, it's actually sorta hard to watch because of how trippy everything moves and how animated it is
Well, I'm going to dive into the science of optical illusions, and its interrelation with video. There are a few key principles that apply to this that provide the effect of animation, but the main one in FPS. First of all, videos are basically just many images that play one after another in quick succession, so that the brain has a hard time seeing the choppiness between pictures, or frames. The higher FPS something is running at, the smoother the video will seem. But this principle comes with some interesting side effects. Lets say your filming a helicopter, and the rotor is spinning 40 times every second. If your camera is filming at 40 FPS, the rotor will have made a full 360 degrees or a full rotation in the time space in one frame, so that when you look at the footage, It looks as if the rotor is completely still. And if the FPS is slightly faster or slower than the rotation speed of the rotor, the rotor on video may look as if its rotating backwards or slow (effect seen at 0:14). In the video, we are just basically seeing a mural go past our eyes, but the speed and FPS the video was matched with the shapes so that with every frame, a shape goes off its original position being replaced by another, identical shape, making it seem like the picture hadn't moved. Now add small variations to each frame and you've got yourselves an animation! This is also why these shapes were generated with math and code," because getting an effect like that with luck and no post production is a million times less likely than winning the lottery.
Gotta be honest, one must have some God-given gift to turn a simply game into a piece of art, let alone the talent to monetize it. This is my favorite line rider music vid, by far.

Really great job with the visual representation, the hexagonal backgrounds that track the rider really blew my mind.
I genuinely cannot fathom how five hundred and three people found reason to dislike this video. The amount of effort and time put into a visual masterpiece representing music is absurd.
