If you struggle with this constant thinking and anxiety and tearing yourself apart then please find help. See a therapist. It's not pitiful, or a wimpy thing to do. Who knew a song could awaken something in you.
It can always do so... just listen to the Music, the instrument and the sound and listen to someone like Uppermost, The Midnight (instrumentals specifically)... the sounds somehow have more meaning than words in any music.
It can awaken something in me sometimes, sometimes I imagine myself Flying, Teleporting through time and space, imagining my imagination being so strong it can assemble existing real world objects as long as I close my eyes and imagine them.. I imagine myself in so many things... that’s how I feel happy sometimes, some of these songs I’ve listened to for over a year or 2, non of them getting old easily.

Tbh. I haven't listened to this song in while. Only just now did it pop on my recommendation. Right when I needed it.
This song popped up in my recommended and prompted me to find the man behind the lyrics, Alan Watts. I am not a spiritual person but I quit my job last week and my husband just put in for a transfer after further absorption has given us a way to find ourselves again in a way I never knew we were lost. We are falling in love with our children and the world all over again in a way I can not describe thanks to this song starting my journey. Thank you, more than you will ever know, for sharing on TH-cam. :)

The best way to free yourself from this incessant chatter is to step back and view it objectively. Just view the voice as a vocalizing mechanism that is capable of making it appear like someone is in there talking to you. Don’t think about it; just notice it. No matter what the voice is saying, it’s all the same. It doesn’t matter if it’s saying nice things or mean things, worldly things or spiritual things. It doesn’t matter because it’s still just a voice talking inside your head. In fact, the only way to get your distance from this voice is to stop differentiating what it’s saying. Stop feeling that one thing it says is you and the other thing it says is not you. If you’re hearing it talk, it’s obviously not you. You are the one who hears the voice. You are the one who notices that it’s talking.
You will someday come to see that there is no use for that incessant internal chatter, and there is no reason to constantly attempt to figure everything out. Eventually you will see that the real cause of problems is not life itself. It’s the commotion the mind makes about life that really causes problems."

So do you understand that reality can’t be explained? This is the reason he said reality is... and the music came on. It can’t be explained in words so it’s futile because everyone’s reality is different no matter what way you put it in it won’t be understandable for everyone because it’s an expression of who you are
Yeah, my reality is Fictional to most people. Even those who write my literal thoughts and experience. Guess what happens if I try to ask them why.
