The reason its under rated is probably due to the fact that the game was released just a YEAR after San Andreas for the PSP, if it was released originally for the PS2, i think it would've gotten way more sales.

I am 41 minutes into the video get nostalgic as fuck and reliving every mission through you. I still have the game. I bought it on the road while we were driving through Italy (at that time it was not available in the country I live). Costed me 30€ and I got a hold of cheat codes off a magazine. Still have that one too. Passed the game 10 times or more. With and without cheats. Now I only play it when I'm on vacation. I get 6 stars police, go to 2nd city on top of that big glass star with my bazooka with 1000 ammo in it and wrek havoc for half an hour. then I organize a fully blown police chase! I ahve so much fun with this game even today. The only negative is that the character can't swim.

The lights were so much better in this game. GTA 3 was very dark and foggy, but in this, Liberty City had a beautiful, sunny, mid-october day which never seemed to end.

Just a little note for anyone who want's to play this on pc..
Use ppsspp, it's a psp emulator.
The performance is way better than the ps2 emulator and it has way less bugs.

My pc can max out gta V but I cant even play gta 3 on the ps2 emu with a stable 30 fps

Before Claude, there was Toni, It was good to see what Toni was like before GTA 3. I played this game on the psp but sadly I didn't finish it but I saw most of the story and I was a bit amazed.
GTA SA was the first GTA I ever played, GTA LCS was my 2nd.

I’ve only just completed this game recently but this game was so fantastic and definitely is up there up the top of the GTA’s and I loved every minute playing it. But wish the story was a bit longer it felt a little short and was quite quick but I’m so glad I picked this game up

One of the most underrated GTA's of all time, LCS & VCS are truly underrated classics.
Out of all the GTA protagonists, (besides Trevor) I'd say Toni Cipriani was not 100% right on the head. What he did to Giovanni Casa was some horrific shit. He chases him around the sawmill, beats him to death with a fire axe, mutilates his corpse using a saw grinder, then delivers the chopped up corpse back to his own deli, disguised as meat for cooking... That's some twisted fuckin shit. And on top of that, he was a domestic terrorist. He blew up Fort Stauton to hell, injuring & killing possibly thousands. Surely if this happened in real life, Toni would have been on the top ten most wanted fugitives. Toni has probably done the worst crimes out of all the GTA protagonists, he might just be the most sadistic protagonist. And that's fuckin saying something. LMAO 😂 😂 😂

This was my first time playing GTA. I played it on the PSP. I mostly just screwed around in the game, not doing the missions. Today I wish I could play it again, but my PSP is broken. Though I could get it on the PS2.
Or you can get an emulator and play it on PC. Just use a mobile emulator,NOT PS2 OR PSP because those versions have massive slowdown.

the rollercoaster ride mission reminds me of the fender ketchup mission from gta sa but its way more extended
