- Beginner watercolour techniques. If you’re just starting to paint in watercolour then this video will help you to understand how to make and adjust soft and hard edges. This is a very important element of painting in watercolour. Creating a balance between hard and soft edges can help you to create successful watercolour paintings.
I show you how to soften watercolour edges that you've made on dry paper and also how to correct edges that have dried darker than you wanted them to be.

Have you done a watercolour tutorial using wet on wet with "triad" colors or "intuitive" colors? I am a beginner but I have seen this a few times on other TH-cam artists such as Anna Mason or Andrew Geeson. Love to see one by you.
I would love to see how you would paint something like a bull moose and a horse. So often their coats have such a uniform color that finding highlights and low lights can be hard as well as being able to communicate fur and hair textures. Thank you for so willingly sharing your talent and experience!
