I'm not sure what is more impressive: the fact that LLB can accurately reproduce any song of any genre, or the fact that they ALWAYS find EXACTLY the perfect artists to do it. 👏👍
Back in the late 90's I had just started line-dancing lessons and was getting pretty good at it. One night they played this song, and a bunch of dudes started doing the line-dance for it (which is quite complex and fast.) I immediately knew I had to learn it. I practiced for weeks and then one night they played it again, and I nailed the dance perfectly. My date was suitably impressed lol. Thanks for taking me back to memory lane with this one. I very much miss those simpler times. Y'all rock.
Never in my wildest dreams, would I have thought L.L.B. would be doing a Cookie Cutter George song. But, here we are. Goes to show how BadAss L.L.B. truly are. L.L.B. never disappoint.
My wife & I were huge George Strait fans & went to many a concert of his. This is a real toe-tapper. Kudos to the fiddle player and steel guitarist. Moar George!
The ability to cross genres from Pink Floyd to George Strait just shows how well your product works. With the change of a few artists and you now have a high-quality country music audio/video production band that doesn't miss a beat (pardon the pun) and simply continues to show how well your approach to the new world of TH-cam entertainment is suited for where music is today. Spot on once again.
exactly my thoughts.. I think it's seeing them play makes it that much better, and doing it as well, and sometimes better than, the original recorded version doesn't hurt either.
Great Job! Mike Kennedy (Strait’s former drummer) was that guy you heard on the last few live albums that George did. Rest In Peace, Kennedy. Love and miss you, dude. I’ll see you again, one day! George also had a great fiddle player named Gene Elder who was with the band since before they hired George as their lead singer. Rest In Peace, Gene. Great job gang!
I haven't ventured deep into Strait's catalog, maybe a dozen "greatest hits" or so. A real pleasure to discover this one. Outstanding performance, Derrick Breaux, and love the pedal steel work! Now I wish LLB would cover "Run", one of the greatest C&W hits ever, perhaps even the Taylor Swift version, with one of your wonderful female vocalists. I can just about hear the lilting, lifting keyboard work! Your collaborations are bringing something special to my life and that of countless others. Thank you!
TH-cam got me again it seems..... Came here to find the "Sister Christian" video and dang if I'm not still here.... So many talented folks!!! Love me some LLB!!!
GREAT JOB!!!! I, like LLB, appreciate many genre’s of music & I appreciate you guys as well. Keep up the great work. As for the very few negative anti country commenters on here, they are missing the point of the LLB. Although all music doesn’t appeal to all people, just enjoy it for what it is. Great musicians sharing with us the gift of their talent. Thank you gentlemen & young lady. Well Done!!! How’d you get Zac Brown to sing lead on this one???
Everybody always does a phenomenal job on these covers. Every instrument can be heard and is clean and crisp. Shout out to your sound board mixer team. You guys do the best covers.
I think I've finally gotten my voice back from all the screaming I did at the live show... This was just ONE of the many awesome songs you guys did....Is it time to come to Lexington again? Such an awesome fun weekend!!!
Just awesome guys. Such a joy to watch you all having so much fun doing what you do and all of us benefiting from it. If you guys decide to cover Springsteen would love to “audition” for a shot at lead vocal 😊
Great job. I just saw George play in Seattle last week. Just got off a cruise from Alaska and went to his concert. Had excellent seats, thanks to George's road mgr. I've known him for a while.
Wow 😲 💕🇨🇦👌 Love this Mike and LLB. Beautifully done. Standing ovation guys and gal. Sorry was working on the truck hence I am late. Thank you LLB. Jay it's all about the bass 🎸💖. Derrick awesome job 👏
This really takes me back... years ago Derrick's dad was minister at the church I attended here in Mercer county & the first time I saw Derrick he was on stage at a local talent show singing "All My Exes Live in Texas" (at the tender age of five or so!). Thoroughly enjoyed hearing him sing this classic & knowing that he's stayed true to his country roots!
I can’t play a note, but love to see the Beautiful Instruments and the Professional Quality of the Players!!! I’m convinced Austin could play a child’s plastic piano in Carnegie Hall!!! Those Guitars 🎸
Is that Ronnie Parker of Uncle Larry’s Homeskoolin’ fame behind the scenes studio field trip? The fiddle player and the chicken picking were studio quality. Great work all around. You too Austin.
I'm not sure what is more impressive: the fact that LLB can accurately reproduce any song of any genre, or the fact that they ALWAYS find EXACTLY the perfect artists to do it. 👏👍
Probably not too hard to find skilled fiddle or steel guitar players in Kentucky.
An endless supply pool of talent clearly around Lexington
This is one of the rare occasions I didn't know the song being played. It didn't matter. What you produced was great.
I enjoyed it. Thank you.
Please tell Derrick he made my day (it's my birthday) and u all are just so spot on it brings a smile to this older lady's face!
WOW, the young lady plays a great fiddle, As always , a great job by all.
DANG Y'ALL .....that was good...gr8 to see Derrick singing.............the band is "in the pocket"..sounz really good.........George would be proud !!
Absolute great cover. As a COUNTRY drummer for 40+ years this is spot on.
Love the steel guitar. I've wanted to play one since I was a kid.
Prooves that there are only two kinds of music: good music and bad music. LLB makes the good even better!

Nice to have Derrick back in the saddle

Once again LLB proves how great they are, excellent cover. Really showing their talents, we really enjoy watching. Please keep bringing more music.
My wife & I were huge George Strait fans & went to many a concert of his. This is a real toe-tapper. Kudos to the fiddle player and steel guitarist. Moar George!
YES!! More country please!!

Great song choice.
Always great to hear some George Strait.
Never heard this song before...country isn't my genre...but the clean, clear musicianship shines! Thanks, LLB!!
Next George Strait song: The Chair
An old George Strait hit
exactly my thoughts.. I think it's seeing them play makes it that much better, and doing it as well, and sometimes better than, the original recorded version doesn't hurt either.
@@robarnt6 or Adalida or Troubadour.. Heartland would be a fun one to see them do as well.
Great Job! Mike Kennedy (Strait’s former drummer) was that guy you heard on the last few live albums that George did. Rest In Peace, Kennedy. Love and miss you, dude. I’ll see you again, one day!

Brought back both good and bad memories. I played bass in a band and sang this song many years ago. Great times. Sadly, I can't play anymore.
I am in love with country violin and steel guitar.... It's like instant holiday.
Love Anything Ya'll Do...
King George and his Ace in the Hole band would be proud of this! SPOT ON!
Most excellent. The king would approve I’m sure.
Just like I said awhile back, there's not a song that you guys and girls can't play! PEACE FROM SHELBYVILLE TENNESSEE!!
Great tune, played in bars for years and it always put them on the floor dancing. Great Job!!!
