    Great video, and explanation of your experience. I'm still using the 13 Pro, possibly will upgrade to the 16 if it's better than 15.

    This was a great video! I want to buy a new iPhone. I currently have an XS. It still works fine but the battery always needs to be charged around dinner time and a better camera would be great. I really appreciate how you discussed your experience with living with this camera and lot a heavy tech video. The reason your battery did not drain while watching 5hr of video is that adjustable frame rate. Most videos refresh at 30-40 frames per second sone the phone throttles down from the 120 Htz, saving battery.

      Thank you very much! I'm glad you enjoyed the video and found it informative. I'm sure you will fall in love with this phone if you decide to upgrade :) And indeed-love the ProMotion with the variable refresh rate! Really appreciate the long video playback time and the sense of security it gives me.

    Do you miss the 3x at all? I found some problems with the jump from the 2x to 5x as the quality between these two focal lengths is digital and the 3x on the Pro Max doesn’t look as great as say on the regular 15 Pro’s 3x.

    • @LeoOuyang
      @LeoOuyang  10 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      You're right-that's a good point! Indeed, the 3x zoom on 15 Pro Max is not as good as 15 Pro's optical zoom. Personally it doesn't really bother me. Whenever I need to shoot something far away, I just use the 5x zoom and accept whatever it gives me, which is always impressive enough😄 But this is indeed a trade-off.

      @@LeoOuyang I’m glad I wasn’t the only one to realize this! I do miss the battery life of the Pro Max. But the form factor of the 15 Pro was so desirable so I went with that instead.

      That's a nice choice! I also love a compact but powerful phone :)@@MatthewVlossak

    • @LeoOuyang
      @LeoOuyang  10 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Hey! Which model did you get? The battery life is also related to some system settings and third-party apps, and there might be something that could be adjusted.

      Hi there! Unfortunately, I haven't used the S24 Ultra yet, so I don't have the answer😂 However, based on my experience with other Android devices, Apple's devices always tend to have smoother animations :)

      You are not wrong… I usually use it with a case so I don’t feel the heat that much, but when I filmed this video with case off I realized the phone can really get hot😂
