That poor creature. I am glad to see her getting some relief. Animals deserve to be treated with kindness.
Probably shouldn't eat them then.
So don’t put them on your plate.
@@puffybuns2311 are you gonna tell that to your cat?
So do people but it’s whatever I guess
She needs to be well to provide us that good milk or grow fat for that angus we all love.
The cow looks like she quickly started to feel better. Bless her heart. ❤️🩹
You would too.
Bless her fart
Better out then in as Shrek always says
Her eyes by the end 🥺

It's satisfying to see the relief as it starts to close its eyes . Can't imagine the pain it was enduring

@@ChrisKimDMD ha yes as long as she's awake . I'd imagine the pain kept her from properly resting . Must be exhausted
I can.....DOUBLE abdominal hernia, 15 years. EXCRUCIATING pain from trapped gas behind a kinked intestine...
I wound up at the ER once thinking my appendix and stomach has exploded…it was gas…..never felt pain like that in my life..I didn’t believe the doc for 20 minutes it was just gas..
We've all had gas and know how painful that can be. Thank you to the vet for helping this animal.
And this is like stage 5 gas buildup too.
I've never had anything even remotely similar to this happen to me.
@@zzyy1934 I had, my stomach was bloated as shit and felt like a ballon, fucking painful
Poor girl. Thank you to the vet!
It's alarming how many conditions are treated by poking a hole in a cow and draining it
LMAOOO
I cannot 😂
I know right. I’d hate to be the cows…
That’s what happens when you have 4 stomachs and they flip causing gas to build and nothing going in or out 😂
@@douglasanderson153this happens to humans too
Poor baby. You could see as soon as she started feeling relief. The grunting stopped, her breathing was less shallow and frequent, and her eyes just started closing in relief. I had a bad bout once. Two days and nights of excruciating pain and discomfort. I was on the cusp of going to the ER when it finally abated, so I definitely empathize with her.
Somewhere preserved for eternity is a clip of a comedian retelling his bout of gas and how he ended up paying a thousand dollars (or thereabouts) to fart in the Emergency Room😅
You were going to take your cow to ER?😂
Where’d they make the hole? 😂
Yeah t first it was pain and shock and who would blame her, but the relief was evident.
Two days of suffering.
We guys just fart and get on with life

Remimds me of when i had a bad tooth infection and got an abcess from it. This thing was huge, and you could feel it through my mouth, and see the pus through the skin. I was laying in bed due to the pain and discomfort, then **pop** and a bad taste. It busted and i had to clean it out fast. It was however the most relaxing feeling ever, to have all that pressure gone.
Thank you for sharing.
. Yikes!
Just thinking of experiencing that is making me gag 🤢 Glad you're better!
disgusting
I legit wanted to die when I had an access. It almost killed me. One of the few things I would not wish on my worst enemy
just the look of relief on that cow. poor thing, eyes were so wide with discomfort glad to see how calm it is now.
Bloating normally occurs in the spring when cows eat fresh grass. If the pressure is not released, it will kill the animal. This bloating only occurs the first time the cattle are allowed to graze in fresh grass. If nothing happens in the first few hours, there is no issue until the next spring.
Wow! I was just wondering why does it happen. Thank you. 👏
@@seigasuki I was raised on a dairy farm, and saw it a few times. When the cows graze in early spring, you have to watch them closely for the first day.
May sound funny but does it smell like farts? @@robertheinkel6225
Is poking a hole the only way to release this gas? Couldn't one massage the cow into a fart? How deep is the hole? Won't it hurt her horribly? I have so many questions!
VERY interesting!
I recently had spine surgery and they start you on softeners right after… which caused HUGE amounts of gas buildup in my stomach. It was honestly more painful than my back! I would have absolutely let someone poke a hole in my stomach to release the gas, if I had been given the option. Poor cow, glad it got relief.
I feel you. Bloating can feel terribly painful. On worst days i had to threw up because of the pressure on my stomach and had to lay in bed all day.
Exercise and some prune juice would of cured ya.
@@tylercurtiss1351 I had just had a bunch of metal put in my spine… the only exercise I was allowed was short walks in the hospital, using a walker and with the physical therapist next to me. So even those walks were limited to once a day, unfortunately.
@@tylercurtiss1351no way bro reads “spine surgery” and suggests exercise 💀
@@dungeonsanddragonsanddrive2902 lol… right? I wasn’t even allowed to do my own personal hygiene after using the restroom, wasn’t allowed to sit up, move from my bed, go to the bathroom… nothing unless I had a nurse with a fall belt and using a walker. There was absolutely zero exercise happening. 🤣 There were even weight alarms on the bed and chair that would alert the staff if I got up… I certainly wasn’t about to go take a jog or drop into some burpees following my deadlifting. 🤪
You can see the relief on her face. Poor girl.
Just look at the first frame compared to the last frame of the video. Eyes bulging, and then it goes down to half shut almost asleep.
I don't understand any of this. Why did she need to go into her back like that? What was that stuff coming out of her? Should we even be eating these things? 😳
How do you know it's a girl, maybe it's a boy.
@@futurefind674 TEXT WALL ALERT
Okay, i'm not an expert so you may want to take this with a grain of salt. The cow was suffering from bloating which ocurrs when excess gas is produced during digestion and cannot be released by the cow, so here the vet usually artificially releases the pressure of the gas by opening a sort of hatch in the cow (which was surgically put onto the cow specifically for this situation), releasing the gas and therefore relieving the pressure, however this cow doesn't seem to have one. the stuff coming out of the cow was the gas along with (probably) stomach acid. And for the last question, if you mean if we should be eating the cow after seeing it like that is yes, i mean, it's not necessary, we could always eat something else, but it sould be safe to eat the cow once it's healthy.
What a God send that Doctor was for that poor baby. Bless her for saving that life!
Poor girl, she must have been in so much pain, I'm glad she got relief.
You can tell that she feels much better and stress levels are going down. Poor cow.
Poor thing! I never knew cows could get that. So glad to see the animal can get relief.
It is because human feed grain to them to get them grow faster for the market (it is very inhuman way). The digestive system of cow doesn't work great with grain. They can eat grain a little bit, but not too much, otherwise it get bloated. Cow eats grass only for its health benefit but not for human benefit. That's the problem.
thanks. was curios y myself @@tinh_lai_ivietnam5253
@@tinh_lai_ivietnam5253 For sure? Wow! I didn't know that.
@@tinh_lai_ivietnam5253So to put it lightly.
They caused this problem for themselves and the cow only to pretend to be heroes knowing they will continue making them eat grain..
@@tinh_lai_ivietnam5253 That is one reason but there are others aswell. Just having an apple stuck can block the gas from getting back up (Cows need to burp). Also in some conditions, gras can ferment into a sort of foamy mass, that blocks gas from getting out. Or something inside her got twisted.

A few years back I made my own wine by fermenting 4 gallons of juice in a 5 gallon bucket. I did all the correct steps so it turned out great and I enjoyed it by just using a spigot to pour glasses over the next couple weeks. By the 3rd week I wasn't catching a buzz anymore but I kept on drinking it since it tasted good. Well it upset my stomach so I drank some baking soda in warm water before bed and went to sleep. I woke up in horrible pain and my stomach was huge and bloated. I wobbled to the bathroom and farted for over 30 seconds straight, it was insane but I sure felt better. Turns out my wine had basically turned into vinegar and when combined with baking soda...well...if you graduated 2nd grade you know that makes a volcano. Except I made one inside me.
So if you're going to make your own wine make sure to pour it off into sealed bottles instead of drinking out of a bucket like my remedial self.
Ouch, what a lesson!!
Poor cow. I’m glad it got the help it needed. Thank you 💜💕
Poor girl. I hope she feels better now, looked like instant relief

Never overinflate your cows, it makes them wear out much faster.
It was worse when all we had was bias ply cows. Now that we have radial cows, it's not as bad.
Yes, over inflating your cow is definately a big mis-steak.
Happened to me once, when I couldn't find my cow pressure gauge...
We lost a cow because of “bloat” after she gouged herself in a clover field she got into. She died before we could get a vet. We didn’t know we could have done this ourselves

Oh the poor baby. Thank you for your kindness 🙏 ❤

Good grief didn't realise a cow could get that much wind. Poor thing must have been a great relief to get rid of all that gas. It looked better by the end. 👍🐮
The Green Party will be jumping up n down about this. So much Methane being released into the atmosphere............. I can feel my skin burning in all the UV light that is getting through to the ground
It’s trapped in one of her stomachs, so she can’t burp or fart it out.
Aw look at her eyes at first then as the gas is released. She is so glad you’re helping her.
The cow was not only experiencing pain. A cow's rumen can become so filled with gas and expand so large that a cow - and other ruminant animals such as goats - will have extreme difficulty breathing, and the compression on the animals' heart can become so severe their heart will be unable to continue beating. Severe bloat can quickly become fatal if not reduced, one way or another.

Poor girl. I bet she felt so much better when the pressure was released.
Its a bit like when you get trapped wind and suddenly you turn over and have a really big fart that brings a smile to you face for shore.
For shore?
And a look of horror to the faces of the other restaurant customers. I once didn’t realise I had trapped wind, and suddenly did a really huge fart in a giant PCWorld shop. The building acted as an echo chamber. I ducked and hid behind shelves.
Imagine that ten times worse and not able to be massaged out. That’s what the poor cow was going through. The tool hurt going in, but the relief was worth it.
Summary
This clip is as gross as it is interesting as an uncomfortable cow needed gas to be released, which gathered over 60 million views on TikTok. Adele Rowley noticed the bloated bovine on her farm in Essex, as it was distressed due to air not passing through the body naturally on September 18. The vet was brought in and she was able to administer pain relief before inserting a tube into the side of the cow, which allowed gas to exit and relieve the pain. The look on the cow was of instant gratification as the valve made an amusing farting sound whilst the bloating instantly began to decrease the size of the stomach.
I feel the same when I hold my farts because I'm with my girlfriend
Poor animal so glad it gets help
You can tell how much relief the cow got from the release by looking at her eyes.
That was incredibly painful when the drain was put in. The poor thing yerked its head back. Glad it helped her though. Poor angel. Hope she was ok.
This is one of those times where you wish animals could understand words all the way - I'm sure the vet would have explained the procedure!

My neighbors cows got into a sorghum field. I saw them and Mom called the farmer. Lucky that we had the only phone in the valley. They lost only one cow, but had to catch and stick med's down about 30 other cows. Was not a fun day when you are 12 years old.
Can they not eat sorghum? What happens? Why were cows grazing so close to a field of something they seeming have a hard time digesting (I assume that was the problem)?
@@DaniHMcV The dairy cows broke through a fence and ambled down to a field of "young sorghum". It was about 2 feet high and had not sent out it's seed pods. Sorghum isn't poisonous to them; it's the gas it generates in their guts. There were about a dozen of them down on their sides blotted out. The Vet "stuck them" and they "gassed out". But he couldn't save one of them. Just glad we had the only phone in the valley, (1954) and they didn't loose more of them.
@@DaniHMcVThey break the fence and escape into crop fields. Some crops are safe for cattle in small amounts or when dried, but they’re too rich when they’re fresh and/or in large amounts and cause a lot of gas from fermenting in the stomachs.
Should anesthetize where you want to pierce the skin. It's still an operation and it's painful for the cow to be pierced like that. Would you do it on yourself?
