To me, the best place to live is in TTDI near to the Bukit Kiara area as it is halfway between PJ and KL.. Melawati, too if u wanna great mountain range backdrop!
Can I politely suggest as another spot that you also visit ......Low Yat Plaza....[an easy walk from from Bukit Bintang]....similar to SimLim in Singapore.......large multi floor and best mall for Computer or phone etc.....

Mont Kiara is definitely not the hotspot of KL. In fact, it is extremely congested, location is further out than the real affluent areas of Damansara Heights and Bangsar and it is more catering to mid level expatriates.

@@TheMonkeys there is another place with japanese. Near Japan club at taman seputeh opposite brickfields. Yes there is a club called Japan club. Another high end area. On top of the hill, the owner of berjaya times square lives there, Vincent tan.
Korean, Japanese and Singaporean expats are more towards Mt Kiara as it is like life at home: high rise buildings, facilities all around them and far lower prices than residing in KLCC.

KL is the only alpha city in Malaysia and on most Asian rankings on economy, liveability it is ranked top 5 or top 10 in Asia. So of course KL is the spotlight
