Another awesome video! Loved the build on blurple croc since it's what I primarly play at most tourneys. Sadly blurple croc can't draw off of his leader effect from triggered events. 😢 I like your list! I also struggle against the red match-up pretty hard, but I'm hesitant to put in Jimbes/Whoswho 😵 not sure any other way to edit my list to feel stronger vs them 💪
@@heartpiratestcg Yeah sadly it is 😭 it's in the rules Q/A. I still think blurple croc is strong af and just going to get even stronger with the FILM deck cards 👌
sorry but if i remember correctly from the official QnA, activating the trigger of an event from life doesnt trigger the crocodile effect because "Activating a [Trigger] is not the same as activating an Event.". correct me if I am wrong tho, want to learn more about this game, other than that, its a really nice video
Establish a king early and don’t put too many blockers out for their kings to kill for free. You want to event counter out of all their attacks and put pressure early. Also attacking with the 3000 blocker at life is good
Yeah that what I do for that match up as well you can put out baby blocker early to protect life but after that your only good blocker would be miss all sundae and queen. But usually before their 6 or 7 don turn make sure to Atleast establish one big body 7 cost is really good to get rid of 7 cost king. Then if you see your queen or have queen set up you should be good.
Hes not bad at all but since youre able to access purple cards, I feel like there are just better cards. Gekko is better in solid blue in my opinion, but there could be some builds that splash him in. I just dont like him in mine cus I try to keep 4 cards the whole time.
@@heartpiratestcg yea even looking at him in the deck just feels bad. I guess we just need to wait. Douglass bullet in film decks helps aggression a lot and impel down stuff in op02 can definitely make croc more agressive
It’s actually the first video I made if you check out my channel. In this video I made it slightly different and took out who’s who. But check out that video for reference
@@heartpiratestcg yup. I did watch it. I noticed ultis were not in it so i am guessing thats what you replaced whos who with to ramp faster to drop the big stuff quicker. Not too sure how i feel about losing a card to ramp with jack against red but anything else you could afford to lose the card. I was playing the smile fruit variant and found red to be the easiest matchup so i am sure there is a way to make this strong against red.
@@heartpiratestcg the last list i play a lot and as you said the worst match Up is red, but it surprises me that since Green is a Monster in this stage of the game i don't see lists like that
What’s confusing about it? I’m just trying a new list. But the list isn’t that much different than the previous deck profile. If it turns out to be better I’ll definitely update it
Hey for some reason the audio at the very end got a little ahead of itself. Sorry!

Is that true about the events being triggered? I’m also trying to figure out how to beat red Lmaoo. I’m in the process of trying new stuff out

Yeah that’s so weird to me that you don’t get the draw but I didn’t really use it a lot anyway so it’s fine. Thanks for the heads up tho lol
My croc deck struggles against Kaido. How do you approach that matchup?

Doffy cost 7
@@jimmynguyen3682 yeah if you establish a big body early then they kind of can’t attack with king without having blockers present or they’re gonna die
I was thinking the rare 4 cost gecko moria could also be really good for pressure in croc because you can easily always have 5 in hand.

Just fyi, events triggering in life don’t count as activating events so you don’t get to draw off leader
I just figured that out a few days ago lol. That’s weird. Thanks for the heads up though
Do u have a link or video for your decklist? I would be interested in trying it

Can you do this with a zoro match up
For sure bro I got one coming this week
Against zorro its a free win, but i play a way other croc deck :D
How do I find a play mat like that ?
You talking about mine?
@@heartpiratestcg yea they guy in your other video got a black an gold ppg one. I just want one made out of that cloth like material.
My croc deck has been doing well into red
What’s your list looking like
Can you do a play test against green.
Yeah for sure. I’m gonna be posting how to play against every match up probably sometime this week. I just gotta find time to film some of the games
Can you give this updated list?
If this turns out to be better than the one I had previously I’ll make an updated deck profile.

you should really update your deckprofile.... please its so confusing :(
