Sorry the reply was so short! I was learning new stuff at work ( I hate computer based training) .
What I meant was . Thank you. I appreciate your feed back. My rig is constantly evolving. I don't think it'll ever be exactly what is in my head but I'm trying lately to achieve something without spending a ton of money. In the past I've thrown way too much cash at equipment and later realised Gear doesn't make me play well!

Oh Marty, this is actually the simplified version.
To be honest it's just cables and some pots. Much easier than using a smartphone!

His later sans amp thing does a similar thing now. I can get the sound from 1 amp and pedal there's a dry mix whatsit going on but I just like to split it it always sounds too compact to me through 1 amp. That's whyni don't put effects on the bottom end.
But let's face it I'm not Geddy or Chris Or Jon so I'll never sound like them!
Occasionally I do tell myself to be happy being Springy . It normally wears off quite quickly though!

Ha! I've owned a bunch of octaver pedals but never found one which sounded like it tracked right. Either octave up or down. Even the pog! .. The sub octave on ashdown amps does well but I find it just sounds like chorus.
Yes I've tried loads but never been happy.
On most recordings I've just played bass twice . An octave apart with effects on the higher one split left and right. Then I decided to just do the higher part on guitar anyway.
I have a problem with sticking to anything for more than five minutes.
You may have noticed!

Cheap as chips but I get asked regularly what I’m using

@@mindhead2005 Yes the good old Zoom. I've had a few of them over the years. Can't remember if I've had a bass one? but I've had plenty of the guitar and acoustic ones.
