My first street bike was a K6 Gsxr1000; thank god it is so great because I probably wouldn’t be here to type about it if it wasn’t. 14 years later and it still makes me feel like a little kid.
First heard this when you uploaded it, I had an R1 myself back then, and don't have a bike at all now, maybe again one day! Anyway, I often come back to this video to hear a proper 4 pot Japanese screamer with a nice pipe howl to redline. Glorious.

Hey Fred, thank you for your nice words, I really appreciate that! ;) Unfortunately I sold my GSXR and bought a KTM 1290 SuperDuke for Street use - but I sold also that. Then I had a ZX-10R Ninja and a BMW S1000RR for track use - the BMW is still with me but might be sold soon, because I became father. But no worries - I got loads of video material, but I just need time for it!
Ok cool i will be keeping an eye out for the videos in the future and you miss the gsxr because i own a 2005 the black, grey and red since new and i refuse to get rid of. I just love the raw power and I don't really care for electronic that the newer bikes comes with. There is not a whole lot of bikes out there that can compare to the low end toque and power. I ridden the zx10 and the bmw they are OK but i just love my 05 gsxr1000. I don't have any plans on getting rid of it and I am looking to pick up a 2018 gsxr1000. I like the bike a lot and read a lot of good things about it, but the 05 will stay in the garage. Thanks for the reply. and congratulations on the new kid.

Ja, genau. Ich hab auch damals vom ersten Soundcheck ein Video hochgeladen, da siehst du ihn besser. Von 450mm auf 300mm gekürzt, neue Nieten rein, neuer Aufkleber drauf, fertig. Ist niemandem aufgefallen und hat auch bei Polizei und TÜV nie ein Problem gegeben, sofern der DB Eater drin war. ;-)
Hab meinen 300mm im Fahrzeugschein eintragen lassen. Ist ja offiziel für die 750iger ausgeschrieben. Kein Problem gehabt bei der Einzelabnahme. Ist jetzt mit 101 db eingetragen.

@@sasdkr85 hab mir jetzt einen bmc Filter gekauft für meine k6. War es bei dir auch so, dass der Bmc bei weitem nicht so gut passt wie der originalfilter?
@@micheeder5533 wie teuer ist ne Komplettanlage? Kriegt man bei ner K3 auch so nen Klang hin? Meinte klingt ganz gut aber nicht geil, ein Kumpel hat ne R6 das Ding klingt so mega geil.
Marcel H. Akra komplett kannste mit 1500 aufwärts rechnen. Ne R6 holt den geilen Sound überwiegend aus dem Ansauggeräusch. Da müsstest du am Luftfilterkasten was machen. Aber gsxr k3 hat euro 2 Norm, der Sound kann nur geil werden bzw. sein :)
hab gerade nach ner Komplettanlage geguckt... scheiße ey, hätte ich das gewusst hätte ich mir ca 600€ sparen können...also nächste Saison eine Anlage von Akrapovic :D

My other favourite is the GSR 750. Ealier models had NO electronics and the newer ones only had ABS👍

Thank you mate! The mic is mounted on the lower side of the right rear fairing above the exhaust.

Sorry for my late answer. The video was made right after cleaning the motorcycle and chain. After re-oiling the chaun the "clak clak" was away!
I see no left hand clutch work have you an auto shifter or banging thru gear as you drop the power... if you are sounds very smooth.
Love the sound. But your throttle blip is useless if you don't clutch out in the same moment :D

Ist das die Kette, die am Anfang rasselt? Ich hab bei mir bisher noch keinen Weg gefunden die Kette "stumm" zu kriegen und das Geräusch ist ähnlich.
