This is why I loved the camp on the hill near Valentine, no one died in that segment
Yup horseshoe overlook was chill and then when they got to Beavers hollow, their numbers went down, Pinkertons on their asses, Dutch loosing his mind and siding with Micah, the harassments from the Mufree broods and all the fuckery surrounding the area, it was so depressing made me missed when they were in horseshoe.

Micah only ever picked a fight with Arthur when he was about to die of TB. He was too much of a coward to fight a healthy Arthur.
Even like this, Arthur still the winner if Dutch didn't appear when he was about to kill Micah with that revolver
But, if Micah had a fight against the healthy Arthur, there is no doubt that Arthur would have him on the ground in seconds.

Lenny and Sean really surprised me the most. They just... happend out of nowhere and it really lays testimate to the superb writing of this game that there deaths are so grittily realistic and unsatisfying.
lenny was one of my favorites and when he died it was a gut punch.
Sean was my favorite character I love the snarky funny guys who come off as douche but are actually kind and just want a simple life and spent an hour and a half processing his death by just riding around the world looking at landmarks and stuff, so unexpected

Arthur got his TB from a farmer you collect a debt from during a Strauss mission, Mr. Downes. And no Micah didn’t get TB. Either way, he got killed by Dutch and John in the epilouge later on. I was just saying that it would have been more satisfying for me if he would’ve actually got TB from Arthur. And died that way.
I think he did. It takes some time to take effect. It might not have been much of the disease. It probabilities lies dormant. It probably started to affect him a few days before you kill him.

Once I saw Lenny die I started to hate this game kind of I'm pretty sure he was one of the only black characters that you'll see in the game that won't hate you

The saddest part about Hosea's death is Dutch mentions that he doesn't really want to rob the Saint Denis bank.
He's nervous and doesn't want anyone else to die. Hosea is actually the one who ultimately convinces him that it can be done.
And that as long as they execute *the plan* properly, then everything will work out.
Their execution was flawless, but Hosea and Lenny still die. This is Dutch's true breaking point.
At this point, he can't trust anyones word but his own.

Gotta admit Micah's immediate shot after Sean dies was pretty impressive. How his reflex was a perfect shot less than a second after sean died
My favorite part is that throughout the game, the gang slowly starts to go from a family who love one another to a band of disoriented associates who can’t trust one another. It’s amazing story telling.

- Strauss was captured and killed by the law.
- Eagle Flies shot and killed in a factory

The minute Colm saw his escape plan foiled, with Arthur having taken out the sniper and with Sadie and Dutch holding his two men in the crowd hostage, that is where the scene gets interesting. I like how this confident and evil criminals suddenly gets scared as he knows he’s about to die and there’s no way out for him this time.
Colm's facial expressions were spot on! You could see exactly what was going though his mind. Arthurs wave topped it off! Haha

I just love this scene.
I love the sudden change in Colm's facial expression, changing from a smug or bored one, to an actually stressed and pressured one, as he realizes that he will soon die now that his boys are held by sadie and dutch.
Also, I adore how Arthur waves at him.
So many scenes I enjoy watching but this is just pure gold. Like you said it’s the sudden change of expected soon realizing how fucked he is and is finally facing death.

This is the realest game we've gotten in a while, what did Jack say in Mass Effect? "A happy ending is just a story that isn't finished yet" The fact that these characters are so mortal is exactly what makes them so compelling.

That's one of my favorite aurther moments from the game
Agent Ross and Milton are sad characters since they are the incarnation of this quote "whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster" from Nietzsche. They are so obsessed to capture outlaws that they became outlaws, taking a man's wife and sons then shoot him like a dog. Quite Ironic .

It's fairly ironic, in Ross's quest to capture and kill the gang he ends up being the catalyst that drives Jack to kill him in the end. In a bid to get rid of the outlaws all he did was create more.

There was a period of time where I was playing through the game as fast as I could after Hosea and Lenny died and Arthur was diagnosed with TB, because the game was depressing me that much. Everything from Guarma until the Epilogue is a blur for me...

@@WhoopEaterz both Arthur's and Hoseas death made Dutch truly snap. Arthur was like a son to Dutch same with John Hosea was more like a brother to Dutch.

@@-sanju- sometimes your children do stupid shit, it's been said that both Arthur and John grew up together in Dutchs care, John grew and saw what life outside of the outlaw lifestyle was like and seeked his escape with his family, Arthur wasn't that lucky because the only love he had rejected him for his lifestyle, Arthur grew to trust Dutch with little doubt up until he was diagnosed and reflected on everything they ever did. Dutch saw his grip on John was loose after all these years so he decided John could find his own way with his own decisions when he needs to.
@@-sanju- Yes he did, John was like a son to him, so much so that at one point Arthur says to John (arguing over who is Dutch's favorite), "I was a prize pony too once, now I'm a work horse." It's just that Dutch doesn't have as a tight a grip on John as he does on Arthur, partially because of Abigail & Jack and partially because John is generally portrayed as more intelligent than average for his time.

Those deaths really got me. So sudden and so sad. Both were great characters, the most likable ones for sure.
