Given how shallow celebrity can be these days, Paul and Linda are a breath of fresh air. Didn't take themselves too seriously, promoted love and family. Good on them.

Linda was such a grounded person. " my kids are my best friends" lovely human!!
She was on telly, what else was she going to say? " Nah my kids are little brats and they drive me nuts sometimes,"? Which actually would have been a more honest statement.
Linda , knew Paul was very 🎉 popular!, But she refused to be the woman that gave up her life because of the status of celebrity life! She was determined to be recognized as Linda
Such a lovely couple. Soulmates. My husband and I are soulmates. Married 28 years. More in love than ever. We’re lucky ones, to have that kind of love.

What you say its true because i currently live with my girlfriend but we both cant stand each other... last time i ever felt fondly in love was pf my ex and she cheated on me with a dude with long hair... i envy your relationship and i hope i can gather the balls to fo whats right ....
May I ask something. Is it true that even in the happiest of relationships you can still have crushes on other people or feel infatuated by them. Or do you simply never feel that when you're in love
Agree, but I feel as if Linda is putting on an English accent. She didn't have to.
I knew Linda personally way back in 1977, she was a lovely, kind, and very sincere person.

Yes , such a lovely lady - was reading comments after another interview - Linda reminded them of Princess Diana, her mannerisms I thought so as well. She's not really , but gorgeous speaking voice . :)

Wonderful interview of two lovely people and Terry was also loved on TV and radio. Linda was a big part of why I became a vegetarian. I still enjoy listening to Band on the Run, one of my favourite albums. Thanks Paul and Linda.🐎 🐕

Yes, Linda was a gem and he "got" her, unlike her first husband, as Paul explained. The vegetarian part does nothing for me. But otherwise she's an angel and an inspiration.
Too bad his second marriage was to an immature night mare of a female. I knew when she pressured him to have a facelift that she was no Linda

I like wings as much as I do the Beatles, maybe even more in a way. It has such an energy about it. And still the clever lyrics and much more. I do love the Beatles though.
@@MBB9394 I don't really compare them. They are separate, but I do like Wings a lot and have all of the 70's albums. I saw Paul play with his band in London in 2003 near the front. Also saw him at London 'Live Aid'. Feel privileged. Sadly never seen any of the other Beatles play live.

Paul and Linda were great and Paul hasn't forgotten his roots. He's still intouch with us ordinary people.

It's interesting to read comments about her accent. I grew up in the Midwest but spent one summer in the South. When I went back north a lot of friends commented on my new southern drawl that I hadn't noticed so I can completely understand the accent Linda acquired after being married to a Brit and living there for a couple of decades.

You might need an urgent vision test. She looks more a man than McCartney here. She was always the manlier one.
Paul’s mother died of breast cancer as well. I hope their daughters are keeping an eye on their health. Breast cancer is inherited in many cases.
@@chloehall4270 That's right. Paul has now lost two women he adored to breast cancer in his lifetime, first his mother Mary (when he was just fourteen years old) and then his wife Linda.

Paul is an extraordinary talented, funny, and down to earth guy, and his work ethos is nothing short of incredible, and I like quite a lot of his work. You have to admire Paul for decades playing, recording, producing, and still going strong is nothing short of utter brilliance. Paul to me is one of the best artists of all time. I was so sorry when he mentioned he lost his mother at a young age, so he has gone through a lot too. Total respect to Paul, and thanks for the video.

@Kim Kochel Yes I totally agree. It was extremely sad about Lindas death but Paul was no doubt grateful for the 29 years they'd had together. There is no doubt in my mind had she lived, they'd still be married. It seems Nancy has chosen to keep a low profile but as long as they're happy together, thats all that matters.

I saw Wings (Paul and Linda) in concert at MSG around this time. It was the first time he had integrated Beatles' songs and the audience went wild. It was just like "A Hard Day's Night."
At 11:05, Linda's below- center stage upangled photo of Jimi Hendrix onstage silhouetted in white against a wholly black shadow ambience is a uniquely great capture for the ages of his bipolar brisance guitarista essence.

What would any of these artists of today, if they lost electricity? I was at a concert where this happened. I went to a Lionel Hampton concert, with my dad. Lionel had a person bring his motorcycle on to the stage; and he finished the concert.

I really wished Paul would have turned to his band "Wings" and showed them the Platinum Achievement and thanked them. He also should have showed it to the audience and thanked them as well. Just an observation.

When young, I asked my mum why they always sang yea, yea, yea! in pop songs. She never gave me a straight answer, and it wasn't until i began my romantic career, that I realised lovers often say yea, yea, yea!

The real paul was replaced and most people didn't notice or care.
Her first husband was a photographer. She used to go along and help him. That's how she got into photography.

Paul never got over Linda’s death, and we all know about the car crash marriage he embarked on afterwards. Frankly, he was still grieving Linda really, and should never have gone through with it! Still, just goes to show money can’t buy you everything, or as the song went love. All so sad, Linda died far far too young!
I totally agree with Mcartney that technology has improved and it has to be in order to obtain better recordings but man, there is nothing on earth that can even equal or even improve on the sound of Sun records! Elvis, and others accomplished what will never be surpasses in that humble recording studio.
Thank god paul found peace and love again,him and linda never would of been apart

When I listen to The Wings...I'm struck by Linda's wonderful harmonies and excellent keyboard playing.. Her voice is heavenly..

I can't speak to the keyboard playing in the studio as I'm not sure what parts she played.. but I definitely love the quality of her voice in those stacked harmonies. Even Michael Jackson, of all people, was a fan of her vocals. The incredulous response obviously refers to her infamous live isolated vocal track, which in all fairness could have been a matter of her monitor mix combined with her relative lack of experience.
