I am curious how this new way ( well new to me) of publishing works. I see you are both the author and the one who has the TH-cam channel. I also see you publish your stories on kindle ( I believe that's Ebooks ) and trough audio. Is this a modern variant on publishing independently or semi-independently ?

But i noticed you have narration. and you sell trough Amazon & Kindle etc ,etc. Looks very professional .Anyway. I hope your strategy works out for you . Have a creative new year .😇

Excellent opener to a new urban fantasy series. I can't wait to see how the female lead 'thaws' this cold harsh dragon over the course of this series. This is a new author for me but she is on my favorites list now and I can't wait to pick up Book 2.

I spent years on capital hill while in college… thank you for bringing me back to Seattle in this story. Flashbacks of smelling coffee roasting mixed with the struggle to find parallel parking. 🚙🚗🛻🚙 ☕️ all the way back to the tales of a kraken in lake Washington as kid. 🦑💙
This book series is awesome! I found it at random and I'm definitely glad I did. I'll have to checkout your other series too! 🤦♀️🤦♀️ That therapist scene made me cringe though, I've been around some like that. I also have a bunch of military family too so most therapists are used to military quirks (Or we just stright up mention it to begin with lol)

I found this accidentally too and I am really enjoying it. The characters are great...the tiger is hysterical as is the dour dragon. Its really really good, she is a great heroine and I could listen to much more of this. Thank you for the upload! I may very well take you up on the forever copies...This is my new favourite...I liked Alex Versus and didnt really get into the Dresden ones but Val is my type of heroine and she has the kind of funny, interesting encounters that will keep me happy until my broken arm heals and the cast comes off leaving me able to read again! Thanks to the author and I will pick up physical copies as soon as I can hold a book! Obviously I liked and subbed too! This is so good of you because the story is way better than many I have paid for!

The venom glands of octopus and squid are located on the posterior of their mouths, would kraken venom glands not be similarly located? If so, to obtain kraken venom one would of necessity have to put one's hands into the posterior of the kraken's mouth.
My first urban fantasy, and I absolutely LOVED the protagonist. Definitely interested to see if more backstory that’s been hinted at here gets explored. It’s been awhile since I’ve read a story where the protagonist is also older than me...the ex-husband and distant daughter surprised me, but it’s actually central to why she keeps people away at arm’s length.
The Kate Daniels series is a fantastic read if you haven't read it yet. This series is similar, so if you like this, you'll probably love Ilona Andrews. The first book of the series is Magic Bites.

I had a Maine Coon boy who was addicted to paper shopping bags! Used skid across the lino floor to attack them, make caves of them and do 'I am a cave lion, that gazelle is mine!' (usually the floor mop!) Any idea how difficult it is to mop a floor with a 15kg cat disemboweling his prey? Another cat (boy) who used to pack himself everytime I had to go away for work, check suitcase for cat. He was also my attack cat... lol.. nobody was allowed near me when beast feeding my son. The dogs ae also fun, the Great Dane played football (well rugby). the Karacachans really like body sledging in snow. Apologies, but you made me SMILE... I have neighbours who remind me of some of your characters.

She should have named the gun Mjolnar. Since silver and copper are similar chemically and physically, silver should replace copper as a jacket material for bullets and make only a minuscule difference. On the other hand, a silver jacketed bullet should be just as effective against magicals as a bullet made completely of silver, which would have less mass then a bullet of lead with a copper or silver jacket.
I overall presentation of this book is good enough to have me consider purchasing the series and I also love that the heroine is older and not of the YA crowd. The maturity is welcoming.

I spent years on capital hill while in college… thank you for bringing me back to Seattle in this story. Flashbacks of smelling coffee roasting mixed with the struggle to find parallel parking. 🚙🚗🛻🚙 ☕️ all the way back to the tales of a kraken in lake Washington as kid. 🦑💙

I found this accidentally too and I am really enjoying it. The characters are great...the tiger is hysterical as is the dour dragon. Its really really good, she is a great heroine and I could listen to much more of this. Thank you for the upload! I may very well take you up on the forever copies...This is my new favourite...I liked Alex Versus and didnt really get into the Dresden ones but Val is my type of heroine and she has the kind of funny, interesting encounters that will keep me happy until my broken arm heals and the cast comes off leaving me able to read again! Thanks to the author and I will pick up physical copies as soon as I can hold a book! Obviously I liked and subbed too! This is so good of you because the story is way better than many I have paid for!

The venom glands of octopus and squid are located on the posterior of their mouths, would kraken venom glands not be similarly located? If so, to obtain kraken venom one would of necessity have to put one's hands into the posterior of the kraken's mouth.
I love the writing style and also the reading voices for the characters are fantastic!
My first urban fantasy, and I absolutely LOVED the protagonist. Definitely interested to see if more backstory that’s been hinted at here gets explored. It’s been awhile since I’ve read a story where the protagonist is also older than me...the ex-husband and distant daughter surprised me, but it’s actually central to why she keeps people away at arm’s length.
The Kate Daniels series is a fantastic read if you haven't read it yet. This series is similar, so if you like this, you'll probably love Ilona Andrews. The first book of the series is Magic Bites.

I had a Maine Coon boy who was addicted to paper shopping bags! Used skid across the lino floor to attack them, make caves of them and do 'I am a cave lion, that gazelle is mine!' (usually the floor mop!) Any idea how difficult it is to mop a floor with a 15kg cat disemboweling his prey?
Another cat (boy) who used to pack himself everytime I had to go away for work, check suitcase for cat. He was also my attack cat... lol.. nobody was allowed near me when beast feeding my son.
The dogs ae also fun, the Great Dane played football (well rugby). the Karacachans really like body sledging in snow.
