Do you have a library card? Even if you haven’t used it. There’s an app called Libby. It hooks up with your local library and allow you to use their digital library. It’s been a life saver. I often use both TH-cam and Libby in the same day.

This is the best narrator I’ve experienced. First rate in every aspect. What a gem! And these books are top notch as well. How lucky we all are to have these to use. I also grateful because I am in grief from the death of 6 female family members, including my only child, my daughter Laura. I chose the first book based on the cover, not knowing that I would dive in to a wonderful magical world with a kick ass heroine who is 42! Which I love. I am an avid romance reader, but at 32 I get a little tired of the same bright eyed young thing that a lot of authors like to make their main character. Also heart felt thanks for a free audio book! I do have KU and will look for you in the kindle library. Cannot wait to listen/read to your other books. ❤

@Ellery C Have you listened to the Throne of Glass series? It is excellent...and 7 audiobooks in the series. It's a commitment though as each book is 20+ hours. As someone who used to be against audiobooks: Then heard some VERY good apocalyptic thrillers and whatnot. . . . This series has been BRILLIANT and stunning! I am weary about Sci-Fi reading lately but love all science fiction as long as the tropes are rooted in some realism. This series keeps you wondering and the ominous-ness of the Dragons, and the way the narrator displays that ominous feeling, gives the story a richer life. It's so amazing I'm already on Elven Doom and just started 2 days ago!
I read constantly normally 4 to six books a week and often buy the books I listen to on TH-cam and have no problem saying I'm often disappointed either in the story or the choice of narrator, I'm extremely excited about this series. Excellently written and incredibly delivered.... Awesome job please keep them coming.

I love your writing and how you make the story interesting by combining sarcasm, known other stories and great quirks for each unique character! And straight up amazing narration!! It reminds me of a modern fantasy version of vaughn heppners (extinction wars) Same amazing skill at making a unique great character, new world and great way of mixing humor and moral into the stories. From someone who have read 1000+ fantasy, sci-fi and all in between books, this is above average!

I have no words with how much I identify with this book, I’m also 42 with CPTSD I have been to battle and this resonates deeply with me. I know the deep ache of leaving children so they would be safe. I know the joy of reuniting with them and making a relationship of love and trust. This book speaks to me like therapy. Thank you ☺️
To start with I was worried that you would fall back on the sad old trope of monster hunter falling in love with the monsters, but now at the end of the 4th book in 3 days, I am very impressed by the developing dynamic between Val and Zav. Having history behind them, as most adults do of old relationships has given you much to explore. Here it is 4am and I am about to start on the 5th book.
Love this series- fabulous story. Brings you right into this world and I find myself feeling as if I am part of the magical group and their missions! 😳😁❤️❤️❤️❤️

Being an avid reader, it's hard for me to listen when I can read almost ten times faster. To start with I was worried that you would fall back on the sad old trope of monster hunter falling in love with the monsters, but now at the end of the 4th book in 3 days, I am very impressed by the developing dynamic between Val and Zav. Having history behind them, as most adults do of old relationships has given you much to explore. Here it is 4am and I am about to start on the 5th book.
Love this series- fabulous story. Brings you right into this world and I find myself feeling as if I am part of the magical group and their missions! 😳😁❤️❤️❤️❤️

Being an avid reader, it's hard for me to listen when I can read almost ten times faster. However, I do think my voracious reading does cause me to miss out on some of the expressions conveyed through verbal. Great series, I love the realism of the world, magic aside 😉 Val is great, a 42year old women as a lead and a respected/feared warrior is not that common in the genre.
