I just want to say, i discovered your playthrough late, but this is genuinely my favorite playthrough of Subnautica so far. I seek out many playthroughs of this game, but if the streamer doesn't have a certain curiosity or interest in the lore its usually not interesting to me. You have both and I enjoy it.

I've been playing this game for the last several weeks and it's really interesting to see someone else's perspective of this event. I stayed at my lifepod when it was happening and didn't get to see it move. I missed that dialogue. This game is amazing.
Unfortunately the timing was the worst possible since the model seemed distorted now this is just a guess but I think the moon behind the Sunbeam messed it up.
Not that it matters at this point (Ten months! :O) but the developers had the foresight to change how the Sunbeam event goes down if you speedrun to shut down the gun tower or simply don't repair the radio. Instead of being shot down, they can't approach the planet because of atmospheric conditions.
This was the best video so far, and they've all been good! Someone fom Twitch recommended this playthrough for me, wish I could remember who it was so I could go thank them.
so I’m binging this now because there’s no breath of the wild on the weekends haha. I usually don’t watch playthroughs of games I haven’t played but I know I’m too much of a wimp for this game lol. I’m already hooked and honestly so invested and anxious that I don’t know if I can go to bed 😅 so thanks for another series to get addicted to!

@@kakahass8845 It's actually motion blur. If you take off motion blur from the settings, there's no distortion.
