    I’ve held this card for a while and have been happy with it. Worth mentioning again that the annual fee can be waived indefinitely if you have the TD All-Inclusive Banking Plan, which is $30/mo or rebated so long as your account balance is always minimum $5,000.

    • @RamaHealthBeauty
      @RamaHealthBeauty ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, do you mean that if you have a td bank account fees can be waived?

    • @koolaidpuc
      @koolaidpuc ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Can you open that inclusive banking plan checking account after getting the credit card and still be eligible for that annual fee to be waived ?

    • @NarrBitaYarr
      @NarrBitaYarr ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, and yes! I opened my account after I received the CC, right before my 1st-year-waived was up for renewal. They initially charged me so I called them and they fixed it within 24hrs.

    • @koolaidpuc
      @koolaidpuc ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@NarrBitaYarr nice. And there is no minimum to have in the checking account for the credit card’s fee to be free every year. The minimum of 5000$ on that inclusive banking checking account only applies to that 30$ banking plan being waved per month for the plan itself, like you mentioned in your original post. I do wonder though if an amex or avion card from rbc tops the TD aeroplan cc. With Rbc and Amex, you get to convert the points to avios for example. The aeroplan is limited to air Canada.

      Having the all inclusive chequing to skip the annual fee for the credit card is actually more expensive.

    I spoke to 2 td agents yesterday about the aeroplan card - and they said you get points with any airline flights you book - you just get more with air canada and there list of many other airlines. Regardless you get areoplan points with any flights booked. You get areoplan points with groceries and gas plus the list of business and merchants they have on there programs. The first checked bags is amazing as well. Thank goodness yesterday when I was watching your other video I did my own research and went with the areoplan

    I've had this card for a year, and it works well for me. Though with the travel chaos lately my family went carry-on only for a trip 2 weeks ago because we were afraid that any free checked bags would just get lost.

    • @Arthur-S
      @Arthur-S ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I would recommend to buy an AirTag or similar product, so you leave inside the checked bag, and can track in case the luggage gets lost. A bit of piece of mind IMO.

    Yes, when you did that last video I disagreed with you and I have had the infinite card for years. The free 1st baggage, if you do 2-4 trips a year, with what they charge for baggage fees, MORE than pays for the yearly credit card fee. Recently, re: aeroplan points, I have noticed few places on the aeroplan program, like Esso gas and Homehardware store. These were two of my go to places so now it takes longer to collect enough points.
    The 7,500 spent to get all those extra points is also a wonderful feature. Thank you for being upfront and honest. Glad the community checked in with you and reached out to give you the right info. Cheers from Eastern Canada.

    LOL i choked myself when i saw my name appearing in ur video LOL
    Earning aeroplan points is def more worth it. Im not saying TD Aeroplan VI is the best card in the "Airline points" earning category in Canada, but its def competitive and versatile for most people, especially not having a crazy high annual fee, which to many beginners can be a huge hurdle.
    But Good job in switching. I make youtube videos also in my main channel, not gonna plug it in here lol, but one day maybe ill explain more about points/miles and how to maximize your points/miles value

    Buyer beware aeroplan is changing their redemption rates sept 1. Yes the rates to sign up for year 1 on card are good but it's also with their intentions to bait you in. History of aeroplan is always changing their points redemption unfortunately

    The Amex Cobalt card is even better. You can transfer points 1:1 to Aeroplan

      @MissMartianDCAU 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The Amex Cobalt + TD Aeroplan VI/VIP have such good synergy with each other that if you get one you sort of _have_ to get the other to absolutely maximize the potential earnings.

    The problem I have with the infinite travel card is I finally went to book a trip in TD for expedia, and wanted to go to puerto plata in September, trip on Air transat or on selloff vacations was around $899 each, but on TD expedia it was $1299 and it wasnt direct flights... so I feel like its a ripoff.

    • @zparklezztudioz782
      @zparklezztudioz782 ปีที่แล้ว

    As a single person whose main expenses are food and groceries (no house, no car) it kinda sucks I cant get into this now. It doesnt make sense financially as I use Tangerines free card to get cash back. One day!

    If you want to maximize your aeroplan point, totals, American Express, cobalt credit card, you seem like a millennial like myself, and with a young family how you can transfer membership points, one to one to aeroplan instantaneously that is another way to maximize your ability to travel

    This TD add was brought to you by........ If you actually travel allot and crunch the numbers you will find AMEX Business Platinum ALWAYS comes on top.
    Even when you redeme your points. Have you seen a TD Lounge? No. An AMEX lounge is like a home.
    This is an add push for sure sorry. I travel allot and I tried to swit h from AMEX, and no one even came close in perks.

    How does this card compare to amex cobalt?

  • @AlexChristianG
    @AlexChristianG 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Great Follow up video!! and Thanks for making this one. How about comparing the Amex Cobalt vs TD Aeroplan Infinite visa. As AMEX cobalt does give 5x on Food, groceries and drinks, which is better than TD one. I am just thinking, if the option of annual fees to be waived (All inclusive account) for TD card would make a difference, for not opting the Amex ?

      I use it. Just make sure all your flights, hotels or airbnbs are charged on your TD Areoplan or Amex for insurance benefits and then load your wise card for when you're in another country so you're not missing out on points.
