Great Video! I was still wondering about the fact you told in a previous video to wait for a better deal to get the AMEX cobalt card. What are you expecting them to propose as a deal? You think it's gonna happen this summer? If yes, the best strategy would be to get the TD Aeroplan infinite now and Amex cobalt once the deal is uncovered?
I have the TD Visa Aeroplane Infinite Privilege and am wondering if the benefit is status, some extra points on general spending and e-upgrade credits. Trying to quantity the cost vs benefit.
How did you qualify for the TD Visa Infinite Privilege card ? I have a perfect credit (history, never skipped a payment, no debt, etc.) revenue over what they ask for also and got refused ?!
Thanks for all this great info, and all your other information Ricky! You’re super knowledgeable and concise, much appreciated. I’m currently a TD Infinite cardholder, and I’m wondering about what you said towards the end - would I be allowed to switch to a different Infinite Visa (same type, just new number) and get the welcome bonus? Or is there something stopping me from applying to all the different cards to get the welcome bonuses and just paying all the yearly fees? Getting hundreds of thousands of miles by just spending a few hundred bucks is well worth it….if it’s possible
Great video! Is there a cc where I can get Aeroplan perks without having to fly AC/its partners? So far it seems like the Amex Cobalt with the 1:1 Aeroplan points thing. But not sure if this applies to lounge access or anything. I'm a frequent flyer so really just want a cc where I get the most bang for my buck (redeem points for flights), use the points for hotel stays, and enjoy lounge. Oh and no Foreign Transaction fees lol. Not sure if Amex Platinum or Gold would make more sense. Or if the Cobalt is it (I currently own the Cobalt). I don't regularly fly AC (very rarely). So don't think any of the Aeroplan cards make sense for my style of traveling. UPDATE: Looked around some and it seems like the Scotiabank Passport Visa Infinite Card is my best bet.
Hey there, just landed on your channel. Definetly subscribing! I couldn't find any video on air miles though! I find this surprising as they have a large amount of members. My main concern was now that I'm looking at maximizing the rewards I get from my spending, are air miles worth it compared to competing reward programs? If they are, then what is the best card to get? Thanks!
Can you do a comparison between the TD Aeroplan VISA Privilege vs the CIBC Aeroplan VISA Privilege? I know if you have min balance on the most expensive chequings account for CIBC, they'll waive $139 off the Privilege card annually but TD will not do the same.
I love your videos. Can you please make a video comparing business credit cards? Also can I have two different aeroplane card and combine points; or personal and business credit card with the same bank in the same line?
Hey Ricky, do you know if you have to pick any of the cards profiled in a branch, or are they just mailed to your Canadian address? As you know I'm not living in Canada presently.
M confused how this helps u fly first class???? Most of these points are redeemed at $100 for 10000 points. Unless you own a business and spending $1mil easily it’s going to be hard flying first class one way with points given that these seats are easily priced at 10k.
As a regular user, I’ve really enjoyed the Scotiabank passport travel card. There’s no foreign exchange rate, you get a priority pass for airport lounges and you can use your travel points for any travel expense (with any airline). I’d be interested in hearing your opinion on this card.
The Scotia Amex gold is much better. A lot more points with better bonus offer, and all the same perks of Scotia passport. Scene plus points don't have the best value though. Plus soctia bank is awful in terms of customer service
@@PrinceofTravel I booked through my Aeroplan account. But that does not have the option to include the Bag without Charge. Need help, signed up last year in Jan/Feb for the TD Infinite Visa + buddy pass. Used it for most of the year, travel plans went South and converted the buddy pass to points and cancelled the card about 2 months ago… what’s the threshold for signing up for a new TD Infinite Card to get the bonus… can I qualify for this new round of bonuses? From my understanding, from Prince of Travel’s other videos is that it’s 12 months from sign up date where you will be able to get the welcome bonuses again. Can anyone confirm this? Also, it’s from sign up date and not cancellation date, correct? I’m confused because some people are saying it’s 12 months from last sign up, other aeroplan CC channels are saying it’s 6 months.
