Hi Robin - Again I am watching you while I get ready for church. I clean my oven every 5 weeks on zone cleaning. I have a self cleaning oven but I hate using it so I use vinegar and baking soda and since I do it so often its not that bad a job. I have an electric oven so they say not to put foil on the bottom so I put it on my bottom rack and that catches most things. Yesterday I cooked all day for things to put in my brothers freezer after his surgery. I will be there with him a few days but he will need easy things to eat after I am gone. So my kitchen needs a good scrub down Monday, I wiped everything up but its not pristine. I was just so pooped when I got thru cooking. Blessings to you Robin. I appreciate you.
Hi Robin, I’m enjoying watching your videos that were posted before I subscribed to your channel. As usual, this video has good and useful info. Something that I appreciate about you is that you’re ‘real’ with us. When your glove gets filled with water, you don’t edit it out; you include it in the video. In your graceful way, you chuckle and go on about your day. It’s refreshing that you don’t strive for a ‘picture perfect’ video. (I hope you know what I mean. 🙂) Thank you so much for investing your time and effort in us. I know I’m a better person for spending time with you. Blessings 🌻
I absolutely LOVE your videos Robin, you get the job done with a calming and organized approach and give me tons of motivation. Your background music is energizing without being glaring.........thank you for sharing. Cleaning my oven as we speak AND putting my racks in the tub (never thought of that and instead dripped all over the laundry room floor using the laundry tub) Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family. Cheers from Ontario Canada........
Thank you Gayle! Your kind words are so encouraging to me. I’m glad I could provide some ideas and motivation for your oven cleaning. I’m so glad mine is finished- at least for the moment! 😄💜
Hi Robin, On the subject of hand washing and gloves you are absolutely right. I’m a retired nurse and germs can so easily be transferred from one area to another. Just because you can’t see them and an area looks clean it doesn’t mean it is clean. You have a wonderful platform to educate. Have a blessed week
For one glorious moment I thought you were going to say how to clean between the two glass panels on the door as I have same problem, though different make. It is so annoying seeing that dribble down the door. I wondered if steam cleaning might shift it?
enjoyed the video! I used a baking soda and water mixture to clean my oven last time, however I did use oven cleaner on my racks. I hate the stuff! I will take your advise and soak them in hot soapy water next time! I printed out your recipe for the disinfectant spray and one of my questions was about granite and if it would hurt it. I use a product called jaws to clean my kitchen counter tops. I really wanted the spray especially for the bathroom areas! I always enjoy your videos! you are such a calm person I need that quality! thanks so much for sharing!
Thank you! All of the ingredients in the disinfecting cleaner are safe for granite and I use it on our granite countertops. I appreciate your kind words and support and hope you have a blessed day! 💛😊💛
I am a new subscriber and have been enjoying your videos. For some reason I really enjoy cleaning videos. They do help motivate, so that’s a good thing. You have a beautiful home. I really enjoyed your Christmas topiary video.
Thank you Debbie and welcome! I’m so happy you stopped in to say hello! I’m glad you find these videos helpful and hope to see you here again soon. Have a great week! 💜😊💜
So happy to see your channel growing! It is one of my favorites! I was just looking at my oven this week and thinking I needed to clean it. I guess I had better get it done!

Hello Robin! I do my oven about once a month. Lining the bottom helps alot. Cleaning it often makes the job much easier too! Have a wonderful and blessed week. 😊💖
@@FaithandFlour I don't like it either! 😮 But having said that the more often ugly jobs are done the easier they get! And sometimes I do skip it if oven hasn't been in use as much. 👍
And just like that...I am motivated to clean my oven, lol! Honestly, I have been AFRAID to use the self-cleaning cycle, but today is the day to give a try! Thank you for another motivational video, Robin ♥
Hi Robin. Last December just in time for Christmas dinner for eight, we had a new ‘smart and energy saving’ kitchen appliance suite installed. I really enjoy the clean, easy and quicker induction cooktop, being able to choose between standard and convection with both the oven and microwave, and each having the self clean feature too. Absolutely no smell and the additional heat is nice during five very cold winter months. Refrigerator and dishwasher are very nice as well. I love to bake and cook healthy food from scratch and in being so fortunate to have these appliances, somehow everything is even more enjoyable. Hope all is well and I always enjoy watching your channel. Thank you.❄️🎄✨
After a lot of online and in store research we bought the GE Profile Series at a family owned large appliance store here in town who also sell all accessories and service every brand they sell. Big box stores knew very little, didn’t carry an entire suite of any brand, and don’t service what they sell. Nice appliances will be big plus when selling our home this Spring. Here you go and thank you for asking Robin. www.geappliances.com/ge/profile.htm 😊
Hi, enjoy watching your videos(from Ohio). Your home is always so nice an clean before you actually clean. I'd love to see an area you think is really messy before you clean it up. I just think you never let it get that messy!😊
Good Sunday morning to you sweet friend & neighbor....hugs from me in Houston!!!! Wonderful video, needed this today, as I have a lot to get to today :) ROSES, ahhh beautiful....maybe my favorite smell! Love Home Planet is maybe my favorite, sells at HEB! You are lucky that your racks fit PERFECT in your sink :) My husband had to take our oven apart to get inside the door/glass too, twice. It is not the "easiest" of jobs & I know how nice your Thermador is. Tell Austin hello for me...God bless xoxoxo
Thank you! The roses were a gift from friends and I have been enjoying them very much. 😊 I hope you are enjoying a lovely weekend! Austin sends hugs! 🐾💙
@@FaithandFlour May God bless over you & the family....yes, wonderful weekend here in Texas! Do you put up outdoor lights? Well, I guess I saw your last video, where you did say you do not do too much outdoor decor, so I guess that is the answer. But, loved the video :)
Hi Robin, I love your videos. I have a question about the aqua mop. I would like to know if essential oils can be used in the spray solution. I live in the high dessert and in winter months spiders move in. I make a solution with ESO, vodka and water to spray around to help deter those critters. It would be nice if I could mop using that spray. I use the spray to wipe down our bedroom baseboards, around the windows and blinds, can't stand the thought of a spider in the bed. Thanks for your advice and reminders to clean our homes.
Hi Scarlet! I don’t blame you for not wanting spiders!🕷 😬 we have to deal with scorpions 🦂 here. You do not need anything other than water, but I don’t think using your solution would be a problem. 💙😊💙
Do you think the commercial gas ranges (such as yours) are worth the steep price? I have a cheap builder’s grade Kenmore stove that just broke and am shopping for a new stove and I cannot believe how expensive they have all become!
Hi Robin, did you know the oven door comes off for easy cleaning? It’s so much easier to clean the oven if you don’t have to reach across the door. I put my racks in a heavy duty garbage bag add ammonia and let it set outside in the sun.for several hours. Hose the racks with a strong stream of water. ( I have used a power washer) they look like new.
Hi Sue! Unfortunately my door cannot be removed (I called Thermador to ask). I wish it did. I love the Powerwashing idea for the racks. That’s a great tip! 💙😊💙
I have a question about these gloves you wear doing your dishes. You don't wear them when your cleaning, so why for the dishes? Also, tell us about your scrub brushes for dishes and the bathroom ones you use. Thanks
Thank you Robin. Cleaning the Kitchen hood or the extractor hood is as unpleasant job to me as cleaning the owen. Could you please do the video of it too, and if you have a good home-made cleaning liquid to do the greasy job, I would be greatful for the tip. And greetings from Finland, thank you for the channel.
If you are referring to my large wood cutting board - that came from IKEA. I have a similar diffuser in my Amazon Store www.amazon.com/shop/faithandflour Happy New Year! 😊
Hi Brenda! I probably need to do a video, because it would be hard to answer thoroughly here. Basically, you need to season your Pan first. You can find loads of information on that if you Google it. Then use only water and a stiff brush to clean it. Dry well with a paper towel. Never use soap or detergent and that is it! 😄💚
Thanks, Robin. It is my dad's old skillet and it has been seasoned, but I think I un-seasoned it. Lol I cleaned it with dish soap, oops! Have I ruined it?
Does your dishwasher have a third rack? Mine does and it is for cutlery/silverware. However, I was worried how third rack items get clean when second rack items (cups and bowls) probably block the jets shooting water to the third rack. Thanks.
Hi Nicola! I have two racks and sprayers on the top and bottom. My in-laws have a third rack for silverware and theirs seems to clean just as well as mine. 😊💛
