- These are clips from The Weather Channel's Local on the 8's from March 2009 when Huntersville(near Charlotte) got 6 inches of snow (with thundersnow), then saw a glimpse of May a week later. It's VERY RARE to see a thundersnow forecast for this area.

Wow, I've never seen the phrase "There could even be a rumble of thunder" on the text based before.
81 degrees one day, then 55 degrees the next day, then 41 degrees the next day. That is a forty degree drop!
@socool775 Yeah, we actually did have some thunder snow that night. Too bad I didn't have a camcorder with me to capture it. We rarely ever have thunder snow in NC, let alone really good snows in March.
That's our bi-polar ass weather.

If I remember right, close to 8 inches.
