    To me, The local forecast music accurately descibes a scene in the desert, which perfectly fits into this forecast in particular with extended hot and dry weather in the deserts of Arizona

    You know you're in trouble when the overnight lows are in the 90s. I can't imagine how any human being can live through that heat. My sympathies!

    Ouch, lows in the 90s. You must've had it tough. I live in Rhode Island, and I remember one summer night where the low was close to 80! Luckily, it doesn't get warmer than that at night. The AC was on, too, so I didn't have to worry about dying of heatstroke in my sleep.

      much lower humidity though, so id imagine its not that bad. probably similar to upper 70s and humid for most parts

      The warmest low I’ve seen it get in the morning at my house was 83 degrees on the morning of July 25, 2022.

    90s at night!!! If that was the low temperature in NYC, people would probably lose their mind. I Have seen lows only in the mid to upper 80s at 4 am in New York, but not 90.

      I believe they had up to 129 degrees recorded as samples. I guess it will glitch out if they ever get 130+.

    @1lincolnweather Thats jus the thing. Its really dry in arizona in the summer. Their dewpoints are usually in the upper 30s, so their heat indexes don't usually exceed the air temperature. But that still seems damn hot nonetheless, but more of a "dry hot". Big difference.

    Oh boy thats hot in Lincoln Nebraska win it gets to around 100 degraes the dew points are in the mid 70s and thats around 99 to 101degreas the heat index is 120. Know if its 120 degreas with with 70 degrae dew points the heat index would be like 150 degreas.

    @XxCeltics34xX I used to spend summers and some winters in Havasu and I can actually remember one winter morning it got down to 25 there! Very freak for the temperature to get below 45 there, but it does happen on occasion.

    U know something, my family's from Puerto Rico & since Puerto Rico is a tropical island, getting 2 B a tropical state in the US, that island gets that type of weather, even when its not summertime. Somehow, I'm not liking it.

    lake havasus night time temps during the summer are the same as the day time temps in nc man thats insane 120 during the day and 90 during the night the hottest temp i ever experienced was 104 about 25 years ago

    That's too hot. I prefer humid heat. No other cities has flights cancelled or eggs boiled because of heat. Only Phoenix and Lake Havasu gets hot enough for that to happen, plus heat stroke is very possible even in the shade.

      Ive been home all day and i have felt the heat. We live in an old house with old rotted wood and when the wood heats up frpm the heat it gets very warm inside. Thank god above for our new water coolers which convert cool water into electricity to power the fans.

    and plus i know arizona gets low humidity i live in a desert too during heat waves i get humidity between 10-30 percent trust me i have my own weather station been keeping weather records since 2007 so dont even start

      XxCeltics34xX: Not all year round, but at certain times, yes. Especially in areas like Flagstaff, temperatures can drop to the mid 20s and lower 30s.

      116° for my home state of Indiana. Those brutally hot temperatures occurred in July 1936 as part of the Dust Bowl era and many of those records still stand. 1934 was just as hot. The state record high in Ohio that summer was in Gallipolis when temps hit 113°.

    haa ya good ,stuff this is making me sad i shouldnt be watching this ya its 57 right now and january but in two months it will be back near the 90s and than 120 fucking degrees and 95 at night i hate it, like i cant do anything cuz when you go outside to ride ur board u go out than the sun is like laughing at you its soo bright and u just get soaked in sweat within 15 minutes all you want is the air conditioning ha, and texas is hot to but its humidity that kills you ya whatever its fucking hot
