I don’t understand the point of this so called mower, my 1973 John Deere 140h3 can do all the some things and I even have a 3point hitch for it
Because it has 4wd and traction control and the wide double tyres means it has good grip without ripping up the ground if it is moist, not to mention the safety features. Seems like a good system for a hobby farm that is mostly lawn. Who wants a 50 year old mower over a new one? No one that is smart does.
And so you know I can put duals on mine to, and mine is a collection garden tractor.
@@jd212guy9 your wheels are in front of the blades so the grass gets squashed flat before it gets to the blades, so the blades don't cut 2 strips of grass properly and a couple hours after the cut, you get 2 strips of grass poking up higher than the cut length. That is why tractors aren't the best at mowing grass.

@@Martian74the wheels in the front absolutely do not effect anything. The suction of the blades pulls the grass up and gets cut, tall grass on the other hand lays down and you have come back and hit from the opposite direction.

Cool but I’m pretty sure the animals (cows/ sheep)would like that pasture not to be mowed because they eat grass and shrubs. Plus that weakens the grass because when the animals come to eat it and it’s already cut they would just make it shorter and would kill the grass. Then again this is just from my farming experience.
Plus this is just a add so why did i waste my time 😢
If you really need a tractor get a proper one a jd 3046 can do all those and better plus have a front loader to help with the animals in the pastures out back
How does it handle woody material? Can it do 2" trees and bushes?

At this time we have a sidewalk edger, that is the closest attachment we have to a weed trimmer. Good question!

You are so wrong cattle and horses like feed like that unmown grass. I suggest you talk to a grazier . Tall grass keeps the wind and sun of the soil and helps keep it healthy and moist. This is the whole purpose of conservation and regenerative grazing.
