    Hi love your videos btw just seen some of your videos and they're really helpful for a prospective UCL student! With regards to 2:39 and feeling lonely or isolated would you say this is something you can lessen easily with societies and stuff?

      Thank you so much for your comment, Logan! I would definitely say that societies help a lot - I've made so many of my close friends through societies! Going to department events is also really helpful! It was also way easier to make friends pre-pandemic hahaha. Let me know if you have any other questions!

    UCL grad here, started in 2013. This is SO true. So glad I'm done. No more science library crowded nights...

    Hi, sorry this may be a stupid question but regarding your point about the divisions between types of students (like international v. home students,)
    I just wondered if you knew why this was the case :) and if it was difficult to break that situation. thank you very much for your help

      Don't be sorry! I would say on an individual basis it's not difficult to break, I'm international, but most of my friends I've made at UCL are from the UK. I think it tends to be an issue because home students may have the impression that international students are very wealthy and/or "flexing" their wealth in some way. Hope this helps!

    hi, so UCL doesn’t have a campus?

    • @IsabellaBoyne
      @IsabellaBoyne  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      UCL has buildings around London so there's no one specific campus but at undergraduate level, all your classes will likely be within in a ten minute walk from one another so in that sense it is like you have a campus just in the city. Pre-pandemic I ran into people I knew all the time even without a campus. Hope that helps!
