I work with 3 year olds and its just so confusing for the child to be in timeout without telling them why. All she did was say sorry and lock her in a dark room. Theres mixed messaging in that and it only confuses the child. Not to mention she could be afraid of the dark and now shes locked in there.
It annoys me when they say the children enjoy pageanting because they look happy on stage. Those smiles are fake. They dont see the "training" that goes into the pageants where the child is treated wrong
Lmao ikr? They're voices is just so.... dhajdjsjjsjsns I don't know how to explain. Even my ugly ass voice is better then they're voices lmao. bdnajsnwnaksowakda.
It’s actual extortion! And it happens a lot. Especially on the internet. I don’t think it’s right to have cameras in front of a kids face 24/7 for money. Especially when they’re too young to even know what’s going on.
I honestly felt really really bad because it’s like ... no you can’t do that to a child it will drive them crazy. Obviously I’m not an expert on this shit but I know this so wrong to do
I’m so sure we’re gonna see so many interviews in the next 10-20 years from these poor kids talking about the clear abuse they went through. My heart hurts watching this.
I feel like the kids of those family vloggers are going have videos up on TH-cam talking about the trauma of having a camera in their face all the time at age three, like they will not talk to their parents anymore and they’re gonna need therapy
There’s a good documentary about two child beauty queens who are all grown up. One was still a coach and she was such a ditz. The other one hated it and thought her parents ruined her life. It was interesting.
Sidness there was a random lady in my house for some like financial thing while I was watching that and I laughed so hard I was like “shoot this lady prob thinks I’m nuts”
Who would dare put their toddlers in something that makes them question their own beauty? Toddlers are supposed to worry about if they have the right colour popsicle, not if their nose is too big!
I just can’t get over her, that lady did nothing to help her except lock her in a freaking room. Kids can be persuaded with deep breathes and maybe a bribe, if you can’t handle your kid crying and getting upset then you don’t deserve to be a parent.
I’m just confused since when is it bad to ask the kid to pick up shit? I went to a animal pageant to watch one of the animals took a shit in the hallway IT WAS EVEN MINE AND I PUCKED IT UP. These city moms I swear
Batlover Sings I think it’s really dependent on the age of the child in question. If you’re younger then parents shouldn’t put the responsibility of poop picking up on their children for a variety of reasons, but if the child is old enough then yeah it’s okay. Also, the way the mom used profanities so much while asking her daughter to pick up the poop is inexcusable. There is a way to teach your child to curse responsibly, and using them like that isn’t one of them. She should watch her mouth and be an example for her daughter, not an instigator.
Dingle Berry true but what would he old enough because I was cleaning after chickens goats and lambs at the age of 7 the only poop they wouldn’t let me touch is cat poop
Yeah, that one made me the angriest out of them all, I cant with that mother, locking her less than 6 year old child alone in a room because she was most likely exhausted... This is why I don't like the parents on this show, your kids aren't a toy or something you can just show off... Makes me sick...
these mothers should not be allowed to have kids. i’m sorry but using your child for publicity and money is wrong. those kids don’t have a choice on what they want to do because they are so young, the mothers and producers are in the wrong
James Smith I take it you’ve never been around three years olds for long periods of time have you, threenager has nothing to do with how the child is dressed , it’s more of the personality, three year olds are like mini teenagers, they’re stubborn, bossy and sassy .
I literally just had a rant like this to my husband while watching that clip! Your child is not 3 going on 13, she is 3. She needs to be playing with toys and digging in a sandbox ffs
Some of these parents excuses are “Oh well she’s still just a tween” but they’re literally 4. Like hun, your child isn’t moody because she’s almost a moody teen, she’s moody because you make her go into all these parents letting her act like a diva because you don’t wanna ruin her makeup, making her get rated by people. How would you feel if you had to go on stage when you’re tired and having a bad day just to be rated like an object. Pageants ugh I hate them
Obviously kids are going to be crying they aren’t moody I don’t know why they’re saying that these kids are crying and yelling the last one Is just a kid that doesn’t know what’s happening The first one literally Tried running away from the cameraman they’re going to yell and cry -
I know! I don't understand it, it's really sad the way these children are treated. 😢 I don't know about you, but I would call this abuse. Childern aren't meant to dress up like f*ing adults! They're meant to run around playing with teddies and toys, using their imaginations, and all of that shitaki, not being chased by strange cameras and being abused by their parents for money and f*ing "beauty-scores". It's actually enraging that nobody has stopped all of these goddamn pageants after all of these years, it's just sad. Middle aged parents that are about as good at parenting as my big toe, too gross and sad to fulfill their dreams of being a stupid " pageant-queen", inflicting the pain of having your childhood ripped to shreds in front of your eyes on their poor kids. It's just sad. 😢
The fact that parents do this to children who probably absolutely DO NOT want to do this is terrible 🤦🏽♀️ like let the child live first, they had already started a career for these children
the first girl has a point, the lady asked her if she thinks she is beautiful, But the lil kid got confused and she thought she was asked if she thinks she is beautiful bc she ugly, but she aint ugly.
Most 3 year olds are still toddlers. Don’t punish them for being who they are. The parents need time out and a hobby that doesn’t include exploiting their children.
OK IS NO ONE GOING TO TALK ABOUT HOW HER NAME IS *ALYCESAUNDRA* ??? edit: I'm neither criticizing, bashing nor complaining about her name. I just thought it had very unusual spelling for something that could've been a simple name 🤷🏻♀️ // i have nothing against the child

@@Hxrb Idk if you disagree with what the person said or if you just don't understand but if you don't understand it then they mean want the children taken away from their mothers because of how the kids are being treated.
That’s a lil too harsh Lmaoo child endangerment!? For wanting them to do pageants 😂😂😂 I mean they definitely should let kids be kids but getting their children taken away is wayyy too much 😂
Ikr, especially when there is a cameraman in the same room and they’re there alone together. I would freak tf out if I was three and in the same situation.
I don’t think she was panicking, I think she was throwing a tantrum, the mom did tell her that she had to practice and it seems like she was fooling around instead of practicing, I have worked with this age and used to babysit my nieces when they were this age. I remember my nieces and even my great nieces doing the same thing and some of the kids I worked with doing the same thing when they were in timeout.
I really dislike pageants. It is so obvious that their mothers are living out their dreams through their children. If they truly love their children they would not expose them to the pettiness, jealousy, and insanity of pageants. There are so many constructive activities to help them build their confidence if they WANT to participate in them.
Yeah, i feel so uncomfortable watching child pagaents especially when it involves the kids wearing swim suits that are showing too much skin for their age, i think that's just plain gross
hi, you’re not wrong for upholding this opinion from watching toddlers and tiaras. but at the same time we must realize that it is a reality TV show, they are going to put the absolute most dramatic moments on screen. I must say though that I would not even classify these as real pageants, these are “glitz pageants”. in real pageants, it is never about the way you walk in heels or the artificial hair. typically your score is 60-70% interview, where they ask you questions about your goals, what you’ve done to serve in your community, etc. as far as the pageants i’ve done, it’s more of a sisterhood. i’ve never really witnessed any pettiness or drama unless there’s one bad apple. pageants teach many skills and instill a lot of great assets... such as confidence building, interview skills, public speaking. but as far as parents living out their dreams through their children... this happens in other activities too! such as sports. i would love for you to watch a different pageant other than those on toddlers and tiaras, it may help you form a better educated opinion! :)
Imagine raising a child placing so much emphasis on her looks that she has a mental breakdown the moment someone asks her if she’s beautiful in the least passive-aggressive, most encouraging tone one could use. Like, the implication of even the possibility of a negative shattered her whole world because that’s what she thinks her worth depends on. Mad.
Really sad. We form our personalities and values the most when we are little kids, and it’s very difficult to change later what we learn at that ages. I fear for these girls, their values will be all messed up because of their narcissistic parents
A lot of people call their kids “threenagers” when they are 3 because they basically throw lots of tantrums and act like a “teenager.” I don’t think teenagers throw fits when they’re screaming and crying but ok
@@rachel-ng6zi yeah I know I just think its sick some people make there kids do that and then when they act out they call it something that teenagers even do
It’s not the children It’s the idiot parents who think what they are doing is the right thing... They made their child like this stuff and force them to do it, which I find STUPID Like... be a GOOD role model and PARENT to your kids for gods sake!
The fact that parents out their children through this is disgusting. Forcing them to smear make up on their face and strut around for tv and money. It will ruin the child as they grow up.
Exactly and the parents are the one who gets money, its really unfair and make them wear makeup at that age is gonna ruin their skin... they ruin their childhood and then complain that they are not good or that they are "childish"

In this little girl's perspective when the lady said "Are you beautiful"? The little girl thinks that the lady is doubting her beauty, so you gotta understand that but yeah don't grow your kids to be douches :P
@Escapismxx .x exactly. I think she was always told that being beautiful is the most important thing and her sole purpose. I feel so incredibly sad for those children, they get their childhood taken away from them.
i dont think it's a cameraman. i think it's hidden camera like gopro or something and also. timeout like this is way too common in asia that I'm actually not surprised by it anymore
i really hate it when parents put they’re little kids in pageants. it’s all for the parents enjoyment, none of it’s for the kids. 3 years shouldn’t be worried about winning the pageant, they should be worried about being a kid.

Third she only had to be in there for three minutes which is appropriate for her age. Fourth this isn’t abuse, (this particular clip not the rest of the video)it’s called time out. She had told her she needed to stop playing around .
Ok she literally CHUCKED her daughter on the floor, calls her a “threenager” as she’s literally screaming and crying on the floor and LOCKS her in there to rot away in timeout because she is tired when all this little girl needs is her mother’s emotional
Ikr, kids need their mother's support and love! There was a (bad) experiment where they made a fake monkey mother (like a plush one), one with warm and the other with food. The baby monkey went with the one with warmth the most. They did another experiment where they separated the monkey from the mother for a long time and it got depressed as it felt hopeless and alone.
I thought it was super weird to put the kid in a dark room by herself just because she didn’t want to do a dance routine? Huh? 😂

@@aliciamata00 yeah, I mean my parents twll me to pick poop up, and theres nothing wrong widdat

"Threenager phase" that's called childhood. Your toddler is a toddler, no matter how you dress her.
James Smith I take it you’ve never been around three years olds for long periods of time have you, threenager has nothing to do with how the child is dressed , it’s more of the personality, three year olds are like mini teenagers, they’re stubborn, bossy and sassy .
@@mysticloverfairy1 The last part reminded me of that one TikTok, "I'm a savage. Classy, boujee, sassy. Actin stupid, nasty. "
I literally just had a rant like this to my husband while watching that clip! Your child is not 3 going on 13, she is 3. She needs to be playing with toys and digging in a sandbox ffs
also, leaving your kid alone in a dark room will psychologically affect her. she's not moody, she's three and terrified
@Life’s Tough my sister is three and acts like a baby. She acts sassy and mean tho :')
These parents need to give these children a normal life because it’s honestly not the toddlers fault it’s the environment and people around them.
YESS
Some of these parents excuses are “Oh well she’s still just a tween” but they’re literally 4.

It's actually enraging that nobody has stopped all of these goddamn pageants after all of these years, it's just sad. I really dislike pageants. It is so obvious that their mothers are living out their dreams through their children. If they truly love their children they would not expose them to the pettiness, jealousy, and insanity of pageants. There are so many constructive activities to help them build their confidence if they WANT to participate in them.

Yeah, i feel so uncomfortable watching child pagaents especially when it involves the kids wearing swim suits that are showing too much skin for their age, i think that's just plain gross
yeah exactly, unless the kid actually wants to ig because i used to and i loved it
hi, you’re not wrong for upholding this opinion from watching toddlers and tiaras. but at the same time we must realize that it is a reality TV show, they are going to put the absolute most dramatic moments on screen.
