I once booked a WDW trip for travel in less then one month visit date. It wasn't that great for fast passes. I usual book trips 6 months out but right now my wife doesn't want to travel anywhere. My wife, and I's worry is that we booked a trip partially through get away today for our family to go to Disneyland in Mid September. We are worried the park won't fully be open then, and might have to postpone our trip. Luckily we also bough travel insurance. We booked about a month before all this broke out.

We had a trip to DLR booked for this September, but we've 99% canceled it. Even if the parks are open (and the US/Canada border has reopened) we're not sure going that early is wise. I bought Canadian Resident Tickets pretty much right before reports of the virus started coming out and they have been extended to May 31st, 2021, but I am hoping that they'll get extended again to September 2021 as we really want to go when the park is in full swing Halloween mode.

I really need to build that lightsaber and my vacation is on June 15th and deep breath we will be fine. I was there on the grand opening for galaxy’s edge at Walt Disney world and I saw mrcheezypop on the grand opening and it was awesome seeing him. May the fourth is the best and I did saw her at Star Wars galaxy’s edge and I passed her by and I recognized her and she is a Disney expert and thank you for answering my question for the lightsaber build and build a droid I definitely need my lightsaber and build a droid like right now. That was true galaxy’s edge is awesome and for my opinion I cannot wait to go back to galaxy’s edge again once when it opens.
We have been using GAT since our first trip in 2004. Would never go to Disney without using them! Can’t wait till the parks are open but prob won’t be going to Anaheim (we are in CA) in 2020 ☹️
J Grey I am not promised they will be open... but I was allowed to move my May reservation to any date I chose, with the understanding that I would have to call again & change date if they aren’t open by then.
In Shanghai Disney ticket booths were not open and you had to have reservations for the days you will be at Shanghai Disney. I’m guessing it would be the same since Disneyland and Disney World are much more popular than Shanghai Disney.
I really think that’s how phase 1 is going to be for Disney World. I know they are no longer taking hotel reservations until July 1st but they haven’t cancelled anyone who has had a June hotel reservation yet, so if you already booked a Disney World hotel you’re in! But they are not going to let anyone else in for June. Not sure how phase 2 is going to be yet, just my guess.
I'm gonna try and see what they can do for my mom's first trip to Walt Disney world. I want to go and I really want my mom to experience that too. Maybe that'll be her mother's day gift from me 💜
Disney is playing a nasty little game with people who are having to rebook. We Were supposed to arrive May 27th. We had to reschedule, so we got the free dining plan for our troubles. We chose June 9th with a bit faith trust and pixie dust. So that date is not looking to pan out. So I just called to reschedule to September. The checkin date to use this offer is 9/30. I am being told that as of May 8th anyone who called and had to reschedule cannot keep the free dining plan if they have to reschedule again due to Disney World not reoping. So if you guessed right when your rescheduled and pushed your date really far back then good on you, you get to use the free dining plan as long as you check in by 9/30. If not and like us, you tried to give them your business as close to reoping as possible, and you need to reschedule, then you are just out of luck and even if you arrive before 9/30 you DON'T get to use the free dining. Pretty nasty business coming out of the Happiest Place on Earth.

@Gerri B I’ve never seen get away today tickets over priced before. They seem to always be lower than Disney prices. Another good site is undercover tourist, there tickets are always cheaper than Disney and get away today
Actually very disappointed in the video as not only did she say things that weren’t true, all she did was give a sales pitch for her own company. You cannot save money with Disney through a travel agent. Calling them directly and asking for current discounts is the best way to go. The video was supposed to be about how to travel now during this time, and the question was never answered. Disney is only taking reservations from July 1st on. As a travel agent, she should have known that.

Yes, they provide shuttle service between Disney hotels/resorts and MCO, and also transportation from the hotels to the parks and back

They are trying to limit face to dave interactions as much as possible which means no ticket booths open.
