You’re so awesome! I’m loving all the content you’re posting. I used to go to Disneyland about every other year. I’m now a young 74 with mobility issues and can’t go there. When I watch your videos and I go back in time to some of my favorite memories. So much has changed. I was 5 years old the first time I went. That was in 1955 when it first opened. I loved pirates of the Caribbean and haunted mansion. Through your videos I have even been on rides that didn’t exist while I was still going. Your kind words at the end are very special to me. I know you’re talking to me because I can feel it in my heart. There’s a special place in heaven for a person like you. 😊😊😊
Walking through the castle is a must do for my family. My wedding was Sleeping Beauty themed, and my wife and I then went to Disneyland for our honeymoon and walked the through the castle as newlyweds. We were so saddened when they closed it after 2001, but are very happy that it is back (even though we aren't together anymore). The 1977 version was full of dolls that were posed in the windows and not animated frames like now. You can still see the pictures of the 1977 version pretty easily online.
I worked on the castle...I replaced 3 of many doors on the roof/castle. Including the one at the top.of the castle on the back side facing fantasyland.
I used to love hearing Jimney Cricket singing "When You Wish Upon A Star" as you passed through the castle gates, magical. I always go through this attraction and reminds me of the first movie I went to see, Sleeping Beauty, age 4.
Me! I remember the 1977 version during my childhood in the 90's. What sticks out in my memory the most is the scene where Aurora is hypnotized by Maleficent with the ball of light swinging back and forth.
Me! One reason I love watching your videos is it gives me a chance to see all of the great details that go into making Disneyland. Thank you for all that you do.
My family discovered the walk through in 2013. I'm so glad I saw it because I'm disabled now. Thank you for pointing out options for people with mobility issues.
I'll be honest: the subject wasn't too interesting to me, but i wanted to be sure that TH-cam counted my view, so i fast forwarded to the end so that it would give you credit for the view. I didn't realize how much i needed your affirmation. We are going through a super complex issue in the extended family involving the subject that no family ever thinks that their kids will have to face, and I'm a big pile of "should have" and "how did i miss it" and "I could have done something" and I really am beating myself silly. This isn't the first time your positive affirmations have found me in a dark place and been a bright spot. I'm sure it won't be the last. Thank you for what you do.
5 yrs ago (in Sept 2019) at 71 yrs old I went to Disneyland for the very FIRST TIME!!! I was booked for a hip replacement for Nov, so my family rented a mobility scooter for me and I had the best time! My family didn't do the castle because they didn't want me to feel left out ... but now that you've pointed out that lovely accessible area, even though my mobility is better, I will still be renting a scooter to keep up with the family - and we'll ALL definitely visit Sleeping Beauty's Castle when we come again in Feb '25 (to celebrate my 77th b'day, and my g'daughters 22nd b'day) 🎉🥳 God bless you sir 🙏 - your kind words at the end are needed and appreciated by many. ps: any Disneyland / CA videos made for people with accessible needs (mobility scooter, wheelchair, etc) are always most welcome. I'm now going to look for those 😀 🛵
Since my 1st visit in 1966 (age 4), I have loved the SBC walk-thru. I used to love the adventure and bounding up & down the stairs. Now, I take them at a more leisurely pace! 🤣 Thanks Chris 💕
my daughter always liked it because the windows were at a children's level. they used to be dioramas with the beautiful music from the film in the background. it looks very special now updated, tho I haven't been in person to see this version.thank you for the tour!
Sadly, as many times that I've been to Disneyland over the Decades, I've missed this attraction! When my kids were young, I'd run around the Park training for marathons. With grandkids, I may not make the stairs. Thank you for showing the accessable room!
I can still hear the owl at the top of the castle from the OG walkthrough... "boo boo boo boo boo boop." It was the meet up spot for my high school/college girlfriend when she moved to Long Beach.
When I was about 5 in about 1962 we went to Disneyland for the first time. We walked through that and it scared me so bad we didn’t go back to Disneyland for years!😂
The one that scared me was Babes in Toyland. The trees chased me and terrified until I saw that one had Tennis Shoes on. Then I was ok. Costumes have advanced since then. LOL
ME! I have been going to Disneyland since I was 2 I am now 68 there is something special about that attraction I think. I had no idea people who aren’t able to walk the stairs could watch it that’s amazing!! Thank you as always Chris!!! ❤
Thank you. The Sleeping Beauty walk through has always been one of my favorite. I was so sad when it was closed, but now it is better than before. I am glad you highlighted this attraction, but it will be busier now.
Sleeping Beauty was actually the first attraction I thought of as a possible contender. I've been through it countless times. Didn't realize it had been shut down for years & thought I just had unfortunate timing of going to Disneyland when it was closed for annual maintenance. Hopefully, Disney does not make such a foolish mistake again.
I've always loved the Sleeping Beauty walk-thru. I've really enjoyed showing it to my friends & family that were unaware of it! Now that my knees & hips are wracked with arthritis I will try out the accessible room, which I was unaware of! So thank you for sharing! Love & God bless 💜🙏🤟😍
Thank you so much for featuring the room for people that have mobility issues. It should be pointed out more (especially from Disneyland TH-camrs). It was only a few years ago that I discovered it. What you forgot to show (probably because others were in there) is the Royal chair/bench you sit in while watching the movie. I feel like a queen sitting in the grand chair. I didn’t know about the keyholes. Can’t wait until my next trip to look through them . Thank you again, Chris, for all the secrets you share in your videos. I’ve been a huge Disney fan all my life of 64 years and I’m always thrilled to learn something new. Your channel is amazing. YOU are amazing. 💜🎃👻
💗 From what I remember from 1964, as we got near the castle, dad said, "that's for special guests only," or, "we'll come back to that," or, "we have to get 'somewhere else' in order to catch the ride," and, we never went back. 😢
Me! It's one of my favorite nostalgic places. I had no idea a character shows in that little cell window, but I did get a goon to pop up on me in there. The other one with the pacing spear also has a pop-up goon. I think you have to get super close to the glass to get it to work. It can be tricky, but I’ve seen it scare people really bad.
They found all the cats in the castle when they were modeling it and that's when they started taking care of them!! 😊 🐈⬛ obviously after relocating them.
ME! I’ve been going through this attraction since I was a little girl way back in 1993. Looking at this video I can tell there is some improvements since the last time I’ve walked through.
Me. Been through the Sleeping Beauty Castle walkthrough several time. It’s great to get away from the crowds for a while. Probably go through it every few visits. Thanks for the great videos.
Me! 👋🏼 I also love the Main Street magical windows- but they were not working during my last 2 visits. I’d live to see you do a showcase of the beautiful windows. Thanks for your awesome Disney content and wonderful words of encouragement!
Hilarious story I read about Walt and castle before any attraction. It was full of feral cats. He went back there with someone wearing a white suit. All of a sudden, the suit turned gray. Fleas! They both darted out, trying to get past the crowds without sharing their cargo. They made it to wardrobe so they could shower and change. Walt ensured the cats were removed, cleaned and adopted.
In the first window in the goons hallway a goon jumps out and jump scares you. I wasn’t expecting it and i yelled and jumped back 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅I was hoping you would show him 🤣🤣🤣 wanted to have that surprise scary feeling again
Second genration here of going into the Sleeping Beauty Castle and loved it. Now the 4th generation can see this. Will be going to Disneyland next month and can't wait. I want to in 2025 for my birthday in July. Yep! Disneyland and I are the same age.
My guess is the firehouse next to city hall! But, you’re walking right by it, so…Sleeping Beauty’s castle Walk through? I never knew about the stairless option - that’s great! On my last trip in September, I slipped into the walk-through about 10 minutes after midnight!
I went to Disneyland for the first time recently, and I did the castle walkthrough 😊. It was worth checking out! The first window in the corridor of goons has a guard that pops out sometimes, I saw him! I also touched the doorknob on the next door and it knocked back from the other side and made me jump lol
Me! I thought I was losing it when I took my kids to go through it and it must have been when it was closed, I thought maybe I dreamt it because I couldn’t find the opening. My family thought I was crazy. We have been through it a couple of years ago! My sanity restored. Some of my creditability too😅
Hello Chris, the 1977 Version actually replaced all the Earle dioramas with “Barbie” doll Versions of scenes from the movie. Similar to the Main Street Windows. Then in 2008 Tony Baxter and another imagineer paid homage back to the original Earle designs with some new magical details. I believe it’s the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique store that still has one of the 1977 diorama of Aurora with the animals in the red coat dancing behind the registers in a display.
I haven't walked through the Sleeping Beauty Castle since all the ENHANCEMENTS! I only remember the original, reading the fairytale book along the way. BUT SINGING.....ONCE UPON A DREAM the entire way through!! I might have to watch my Dvd (still have the VHS) tomorrow morning when I AWAKE!!!!

I'm surprised you didn't show Malifacent peeking through the upper window! I would have loved to see if the cycle was paused when she was out on the street!
You missed a SECRET. At the door upstairs that you pull and it makes a noise, the next door with the spear has a SECRET too. If you get too close to the window, or say a little one tries placing their hand on the lip of the window, a henchman will jump up!
We tried to do the Sleeping Beauty walkthrough but it was closed. I guess it was closed for the fireworks. We didn’t know that they would reopen it that night so we left the park. Thanks for sharing the video.
The door that has the marching demon had a jump scare that you missed. My son and I went last week and he wanted to walk it twice. I have no idea why but he enjoyed it. Was his first time to do it. What would help this attraction is a meet and greet at the end. That way you wait in line to meet someone. Doesn't have to always be a princess though. Just saying it's a perfect spot for a queue
I enjoy this attraction because of the fact it is not popular. It does provide a nice quiet environment right off the beaten path and feels like you know something the average Disney attendees don't. For kids, I remember if you could actually get inside something, it made it all that much more cooler...so if you're going with kids take em through!
I've been in it but didn't really notice all the details. Now I'm excited to go again and see all the goodies you pointed out. Great idea for a video. What are some other undervalued rides?
I would have guessed King Arthur Carousel but I know you did that one already. Pinocchio? I'll find out. Well as soon as you said you are looking at it, it all clicked. It awesome, and what other time do you get to go inside a Disney Castle. I really want secrets revealed for Rise and Smugglers Run. I BEEN WAITING FOR THOSE.
My favorite Villian is Maleficent and going to be her for Halloween next year. We have comicon here in town in march and going make my Maleficent costume for that with wings.
ME! Least popular attraction? I'm surprised. But now that i think about it..there usually isn't alot of people in there whenever me or my family go. It's actually really neat in there. You can escape from the sun and go in where it's cool. i did not know there where a room so people with wheelchairs can experience it too. I'll have to go check it out on my next trip. By the way, I am REALLY enjoy the little songs at the end of each video. Thanks Chris!

my Father help work on the inside of the castle!!
You may want to check those dates. Disneyland was constructed over a period of one year: 1954 to 1955. The castle didn’t exist at all in 51 or 52 :(
We always do the castle walkthrough it is beautiful and a must do!

Me!!! My little loves to walk through this every once in a while and she makes me read the story as she looks at each of the dioramas.
Since my 1st visit in 1966 (age 4), I have loved the SBC walk-thru. I used to love the adventure and bounding up & down the stairs. Now, I take them at a more leisurely pace! 🤣 Thanks Chris 💕
ME ME ME......first walked through at the age of 20 in 1987. Everything was THE MOST MAGICAL!! Chris Provost, I am WEEPING in my magical memories.
Thank you for showing the Sleeping Beauty Castle walkthru. I haven't been thru there in decades. It has changed a lot.
my daughter always liked it because the windows were at a children's level. they used to be dioramas with the beautiful music from the film in the background. it looks very special now updated, tho I haven't been in person to see this version.thank you for the tour!

Going for the first time in December! Aurora is my favorite so I cannot wait to see this in person!
I took my daughter for the first time this year - this was one of her favorite attractions!

Hi Chris good vlog and thank you and keep up the good you do love jarl and you are the best love jarl ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉

Sleeping Beauty’s castle? I love it and go in whenever I go to Disneyland! 1:52

Always loved it. Been through both versions.
So glad you did a walk through. Such a great part of the park/history.
It was great getting to meet you that day!!
Great vid and info on this attraction Chris👍
I love it. One of my mom’s favorite. We walked through every time we visited.
I love the walk through! Such a must every time
I didnt know lol wow thanks for Sharing this. You are Awesome
Me, but now I'm older and have mobility issues. I can no longer climb those stairs. I really enjoyed this video and felt as if I was there with you. 🥰
Least popular?! My heart💔. On one of my daughter's first visits, we got to "hang out" with Aurora IN HER CASTLE! Disney magic at its best.
I love this attraction. I like that it feels like"old" Disneyland.
💗 From what I remember from 1964, as we got near the castle, dad said, "that's for special guests only," or, "we'll come back to that," or, "we have to get 'somewhere else' in order to catch the ride," and, we never went back. 😢
Me! Never miss this whenever we go.
Thank you, I like how you take the time to show folks another treasure that we should keep in Disney
Kid screaming outside of a gift shop = Happiest Place on Earth. 😂
Me!!
Such great memories walking through the castle attraction. Still my daughter’s favorite (now 20yrs)

My daughter is named Aurora so we always go through it. I def love it and so dose my little princess
I'm surprised you missed the jump scare on the third door in the Corridor of Goons. It's my kids' favorite part!
My daughters( 3 and 6) always have to stop at the castle ❤❤❤ ❤❤
Meeee! it’s so cool! i didn’t know about the accessibility room though. thank you 🙏
We actually enjoy walking through that attraction!! My teenager actually enjoys it!
Come on Chris, everyone knows it's the canoes.
Me! 👋🏼
I also love the Main Street magical windows- but they were not working during my last 2 visits. I’d live to see you do a showcase of the beautiful windows. Thanks for your awesome Disney content and wonderful words of encouragement!
Your closing message always makes me cry…. I really need to hear what you have to say!!!!
Sleeping Beauty Castle walk through didn’t even realized it was there until after 10th visit. lol.
Hilarious story I read about Walt and castle before any attraction. It was full of feral cats. He went back there with someone wearing a white suit. All of a sudden, the suit turned gray. Fleas! First of all… Me! 😊 I love this attraction. My heart fell through when I heard you saying that is the least popular one 😢
A OTHER GOOD ONE CHRIS,THANK YOU LOVE TOO YOUR FAMILY XX
In the first window in the goons hallway a goon jumps out and jump scares you. I wasn’t expecting it and i yelled and jumped back 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅I was hoping you would show him 🤣🤣🤣 wanted to have that surprise scary feeling again

this one was fantastic! I love sleeping beauty's walk thru. Thank you for what you do!😊
Great video, Chris! LOVE that attraction. 😃
My guess is the firehouse next to city hall! But, you’re walking right by it, so…Sleeping Beauty’s castle Walk through?
I never knew about the stairless option - that’s great! On my last trip in September, I slipped into the walk-through about 10 minutes after midnight!
Wait...Sleeping Beauty gets fewer visitors than President Lincoln? 😲
Me! it's been several years since I was in the castle, but I'll; go again next time. Thanks Chris
I went to Disneyland for the first time recently, and I did the castle walkthrough 😊. It was worth checking out! This is a must see for me, it’s so magical!❤❤❤❤
Me, Me, Me! Must do this during every visit since I was a little dude in 1969!
Me! Don't forget that Maleficent makes an appearance in one of the windows in Fantasy Land! I'd love to see that if you get a chance.

I didn’t know!
We did this on our recent trip.
It was enjoyable and relaxing.
I’ve only been to Disneyland once but I knew the walk through was there so I made sure to do it. Wish we had something similar in Magic Kingdom.

I'm surprised you didn't show Malifacent peeking through the upper window! I would have loved to see if the cycle was paused when she was out on the street!
One of the best things in the park! A great attraction.
You missed a SECRET. At the door upstairs that you pull and it makes a noise, the next door with the spear has a SECRET too. If you get too close to the window, or say a little one tries placing their hand on the lip of the window, a henchman will jump up!
I saw that happen but didn’t know what triggered it. So fun.
Oh my gosh, do you count stairs? I ALWAYS do… every stairway, every time!! 🤣🤣
just started watching the video......and REALLY....least popular??? THIS IS DISNEYLAND!! The happiest place EVER!!! Every attration IS MAGIC!!!!!
ME! I love the Sleeping Beauty walk-through!
I've been in it but didn't really notice all the details. Now I'm excited to go again and see all the goodies you pointed out. Great idea for a video. What are some other undervalued rides?
My guess? Lincoln 🤔
SO Chris. I have heard rumors that there is a special room in that castle. That only famous people are allowed to see, or stay in. Is that true?
My favorite Villian is Maleficent and going to be her for Halloween next year. We have comicon here in town in march and going make my Maleficent costume for that with wings.
Hey, that's my favorite hiding place.... 😂
Me! I didn’t know but my cousin did and she took me through several years ago. It’s a sweet attraction. Thanks for sharing it here.
Everytime I go to Disneyland I do the walk through at Sleeping Beauty Castle 💖💖💖
Love your videos, this one’s a bit of a stretch though!
