I think moding or piracy is somewhat right if you are using old generation console. I have wii(soft moded) and 3ds and only way to play games is piracy. When Nintendo servers will close on 3ds(in march) i will definitely have to mod and i will buy switch when Nintendo will launch next gen console because moding scene starts when this happens.
I think one of the biggest disadvantage of jailbreaking any console is huge loss of performance and console becomes super glitchy ..... Unlike pc the company provided os and update make the experience of console favourable , any alterations cause fps shutters and lags sometimes .

@@HimanshuRana5896 the thing is, a regular switch and a jailbroken switch both have the exact same os! Now battery life is something that is not absolute! It depends on the work you're doing, jailbreak allows you to install themes, overclock your switch, play music in the background, and much more things which is likely to reduce battery life! But these are completely optional things which is not something everyone will use! If you jailbreak only for playing games free and don't care about the extra features you'll get exact amount of battery life that you'll get in a regular switch!
