For everyone watching: Most of the things in the video ARE actually possible. You can emulate your nintendo switch to have 2 separate switches, 1 that is hacked and 1 thats not. You can have your hacked switch offline and still play online games on your normal switch on the same console. Game cardtriges still work, the eshop wont be needed on your hacked switch since there is another shop called tinfoil that is basically the eshop but all is free. So basically, your switch will run as normal. And additionally you can switch between your hacked and normal switch. Only downside is you cant play online games on your hacked switch, play them on your normal

Yes just use sysnand for online and retail cardtridges, i have swith v1 jailbreak use sysnand for online since 2019,nothing problem at all until today😂😂😂
Ok first of all , when you mod your switch there will be 2 seperate systems The stock UNMODDED system and you can go there and play online games and buy online games like animal crossing or splaton or monster hunter and play them normally and use your switch like a non modded switch ' and on the other side there's the modded system that you can pirate games there and do whatever you like without getting banned bcz you're doing it in a fake system with nintendo online service blocked off . In conclosion you can play your cartdige games and go to your eshop and do what a normal switch can do in your stock system without ANY risk of getting banned bcz there's no hack and mod stuff on your stock system
To sum it all up: you cant go online and you cant use cardridges. 1. Not going online is not not possible, but a security to not get banned. 2. I can install every game digital, why should i want to use a cardridge
if you have dual boot for the stock and atmosphere normally you SHOULD be good on online and cartriges seince stock is for like a normal switch and the modded is ussualy made in another free space like a sd card or EMUNAND or something so means you can have both working for free and have all your favourite games with online and all (sorry for my typing issues!)
Modding a switch sounds like fun but actually if your just a newbie like me and seeing those problems happen it really is a drag and if I dont know how to upadate it I have to go to a tech to update it and pay for a fee to update it cost a lot of money.

Also, I am looking to improve the graphics of my games, but it doesn't look like overclocking is as good as just having a nice system for emulation.

if you set your switch up the modded switch you can still use it as a normal switch you will need sysnand and emunand emunand for all your jailbreak stuff with atmosphere etc this means that connections are blocks on the emunand and you cant trigger flags since you will have the connections permanently disabled sysnand for your regular switch stuff such as online and game purchases etc this means no mods are being run on ofw

As others have said here, I only wish to mod the Switch to take advantage of emulation features only availble on PC emulators. I have bought a release day Switch JUST for PC emulation and will continue to use my newer unmodded Mario Kart 8 Deluxe edition switch when on the go and to still have access to the Eshop to buy the games and other online features. I have a 256gb micro sd card to move games from the unmoded switch, the modded one, then to my PC. I only will emulate games I have bought, I don't support modding a Switch to pirate games. i've had a modded switch for over 4 years(?) now, first problem is a headache but it's easily solved by getting the update through illegitimate means. also there is a seperate other gamecard related issue where the card will refuse to launch and give you an error. that is called NoGC, the purpose is to disable the gamecard firmware so that it won't be updated. that's only useful if you downgrade your switch firmware. each update will update the gamecard firmware so that it becomes unusable on older firmwares. i doubt that is the case for many so you can probably turn that off and your gamecard will work you can also sort of play with people on banned/non banned consoles online with each other with the use of switch lan play. it works by letting you play with people over the internet through the lan feature. it's not compatible with many games however.
I want to mod my Switch, I have one of the original ones. I wouldn't want or care about these features not working, I have the OLED now as my main unit and just want to MOD the old Switch to play retro games and maybe some modded Pokemon games etc
I use my modded switch all the time and have never got banned. Dont do anything stupid on your sysNAND and keep your emuNAND offline, you can do bannable things on ur emuNAND if it stays offline youll be fine. Your sysNAND can still access the internet.

Even still the risk out ways the reward since the Switches servers haven't been axed yet, I would always recommend anyone now after starting to mod my own systems to just wait and be patient until the software for said system isn't supported anymore, its a lot less likely for you to get in trouble or have your shit perma banned if most had mover on already

Because my switch was banned and I no longer have the access to open my eshop and even m switch system is not working correctly now I was forced to put a modchip on the console. I don't know what to tell you but sorry to hear about that, all I can say tho is that it should be a common reminder to always do your research before modding the switch and not only the switch but any console. there's tons of guides on youtube that tell you how to fix common and even series problems when it comes to your modded switch or really any modded console.

Internet connection: use 90DNS, it will block nintendo servers and prevent your console from banning 2. Multiplayer games: use lanplay 3. Cartridge: that's actually a safety measure in cfw to allow you to downgrade firmware if needed, you can enable it again by turning off nogc in hekate, but doing that will burn e-fuses which will prevent you from downgrading. 4. E-shop: get games and updates from tinfoil or "other sources". If you want to do it completly legally then buy the game before downloading it. 5. Black screen: personally I have never encountered this issue (owning my switch v1 jailbroken using rcmloader for about a year), I did a quick research and also didn't found anything about that. Imo the problem might be: - incorrect setup - corrupted files - bad/low quality sd card

I modded my switch and vita for the same purpose. To save money for vita card /cartridge and those problems you say ? I didn't encountered any of em especially online gaming because I don't do online games just offline and i happy . I've been using my jailbroken switch for almost a year and I've never had your black screen issue... Also it is possible to play online, you just have to be REALLY careful when setting it all up to not get your switch banned. But if you do pull it off, you can just play purchased games on the system (not CFW, so the actual switch operating system itself), and still play online.

Well it won't matter for me to play offline i just wanna finish the game and play another game. The certain thing here is you can save money instead of buying games but you have to choose those game doesn't need multiplayer.
there is one thing that will fix all of these, simple dont injeck payloads at the start so it boots in normal where you can do all metioned in these video, these problems affect the swichts where you but a chip on them and not the frist batch where you only use a click where o the hack files go to the SSD so as long you dont inject payloads and use another SSd card you are fine.
if set up correctly, MOST of what your talking about is avoidable with dual boot sysnand emmucnand and only playing legit on sysnand and blocking nintendo servers when your on emmucnand, you wont get banned, also I have 0 issues what so ever playing a card on sysnand or emmunand and i have a hac-001 xaw1000 launch day console using a rcm autoloader most of the issues you spoke of with the exception of the eshop are not a issue as long as its set up correctly also look into deepsea, by team neptune best cfw for switch ive used so far

I have all modded console.. since ps1 modded. Why modded? It saves you ton of money. I have 2 console each for ps3, ps4 and switch. Most online game doesn't cost you money.. it's free. Well some of it does. On modded console you can have unlimited games.. of course it's single player and only lan play on private servers. So easy fix modded console for single player games and original console for multiplayer trust me it's a lot cheaper since you don't have buy every single player games/couch co-op. Well I do buy some games I like to support the developer.

Nah, you can boot to the stock OS and play online with legit games. This just needs to be seperated strictly. If you get banned, thats not possible anymore

I have a problem with my Switch since I jailbroke it. The Joy-Cons don't work when I detach them, making it impossible to play on a television. I would like to know if this is a consequence of the jailbreak or if it is another issue
If you happen to have a switch lite that would be impossible to connect to tge tv but if you have the original one as in the bigger switch than there could be a problem in the system or hardware problems tge only way to make sure is to take it to a tech.

there is danger in closing a jailbroken switch maybe you are using a rcm jig which can cause the games to disappear like the jailbroken psp that when you close the device all games unless the chicken software is opened then the games comes out of the screen. i think you need to reactivate it on a rcm jig to activate the games

You can just take the SD card out prior to formatting? The homebrew files are not tied to specific Switch users Also you won't lose the jailbreak if you format your system. Formatting doesn't magically remove your modchip or fix the RCM bug
That's funny I have jailbroken my oled and had none of these issues I can play online my games still work from the cartridge I can go to the store play online so basically it's all about how you jailbreak it I did the smart way everything modded is not on the main switch it's a separate boot
Help with error code 2002-3450 (0xa1ba802) Hello! I just had my new switch v2 jailbroken using hwfly by a technician at a local, but it's giving me an error code 2002-3450 (0xa1ba802) when launching games installed through DBI. Also when installing games from DBI, my sd card still shows 115GB/119GB (the technician just installed totk and rdr but still, it doesnt relfect on my sd card )when it does reflect on my sd card and try go launch that game, it will give the error code 2002-3450 (0xa1ba802). The technician said my sd card is corrupted and fake, but i tried 2 sd cards but still the same. Then the technician formatted the sd card to test it again and it boots up to hekate menu but when booting to sysmmc, it will just turn itself off. Please help. I don't know what to do anymore. Any reply will be appreciated. Thank you.

You can't receive game updates on a banned Switch
And some games won't boot without their update
You can update the original firmware by other ways as well though

If you didn’t install the CFW directly onto the sysNAND and rather in the emuNAND most of these issues wouldn’t be present

It's actually possible. I've been using a modded V1 switch and I can play online.

I've been using my jailbroken switch for almost a year and I've never had your black screen issue...
Also it is possible to play online, you just have to be REALLY careful when setting it all up to not get your switch banned.
But if you do pull it off, you can just play purchased games on the system (not CFW, so the actual switch operating system itself), and still play online.

Well it won't matter for me to play offline i just wanna finish the game and play another game. The certain thing here is you can save money instead of buying games but you have to choose those game doesn't need multiplayer.

there is one thing that will fix all of these, simple dont injeck payloads at the start so it boots in normal where you can do all metioned in these video, these problems affect the swichts where you but a chip on them and not the frist batch where you only use a click where o the hack files go to the SSD so as long you dont inject payloads and use another SSd card you are fine.

if set up correctly, MOST of what your talking about is avoidable with dual boot sysnand emmucnand and only playing legit on sysnand and blocking nintendo servers when your on emmucnand, you wont get banned, also I have 0 issues what so ever playing a card on sysnand or emmunand and i have a hac-001 xaw1000 launch day console using a rcm autoloader most of the issues you spoke of with the exception of the eshop are not a issue as long as its set up correctly also look into deepsea, by team neptune best cfw for switch ive used so far
Hey can i ask though,for example would something like TH-cam put your modded switch to risk,as it utilizes online service and ones own wifi to watch videos etc but it technically isnt an online game per say?

I have all modded console.. since ps1 modded. Why modded? It saves you ton of money. I have 2 console each for ps3, ps4 and switch. Most online game doesn't cost you money.. it's free. Well some of it does. On modded console you can have unlimited games.. of course it's single player and only lan play on private servers. So easy fix modded console for single player games and original console for multiplayer trust me it's a lot cheaper since you don't have buy every single player games/couch co-op. Well I do buy some games I like to support the developer.
So I won't be able to use eShop or play online.

You don't open the eshop because you might get banned
You don't play online because you might get banned
But...getting banned just means you can't play online or open the eshop, nothing else.
So you are basically just banning yourself...
Nah, you can boot to the stock OS and play online with legit games. This just needs to be seperated strictly. If you get banned, thats not possible anymore

I have a problem with my Switch since I jailbroke it. The Joy-Cons don't work when I detach them, making it impossible to play on a television. I would like to know if this is a consequence of the jailbreak or if it is another issue

If you happen to have a switch lite that would be impossible to connect to tge tv but if you have the original one as in the bigger switch than there could be a problem in the system or hardware problems tge only way to make sure is to take it to a tech.

Please answer me🙏😖😖 I already jailbroke my oled, and just after 1 hour playing i turned it off and connected to chager, then i tried to turn it, unfortunately all the games and softwares were deleted and all i had done was playing with my device only for 1 hour and then turned it off.

there is danger in closing a jailbroken switch maybe you are using a rcm jig which can cause the games to disappear like the jailbroken psp that when you close the device all games unless the chicken software is opened then the games comes out of the screen. i think you need to reactivate it on a rcm jig to activate the games

I have a jailbroken switch that was used. I can't delete the old user accounts; I get an error. How can I factory restore the Switch to start over, but keep the jailbeak? Will I lose the hack, which I presume is on the SD card? Thanks!
You can just take the SD card out prior to formatting? The homebrew files are not tied to specific Switch users
Also you won't lose the jailbreak if you format your system. Formatting doesn't magically remove your modchip or fix the RCM bug

That's funny I have jailbroken my oled and had none of these issues I can play online my games still work from the cartridge I can go to the store play online so basically it's all about how you jailbreak it I did the smart way everything modded is not on the main switch it's a separate boot

Hello! I just had my new switch v2 jailbroken using hwfly by a technician at a local, but it's giving me an error code 2002-3450 (0xa1ba802) when launching games installed through DBI. Also when installing games from DBI, my sd card still shows 115GB/119GB (the technician just installed totk and rdr but still, it doesnt relfect on my sd card )when it does reflect on my sd card and try go launch that game, it will give the error code 2002-3450 (0xa1ba802). The technician said my sd card is corrupted and fake, but i tried 2 sd cards but still the same.
Then the technician formatted the sd card to test it again and it boots up to hekate menu but when booting to sysmmc, it will just turn itself off. Please help. I don't know what to do anymore.
