We are grinding out results and these young players are learning quickly. Hatate and CCV back will be a huge boost. Rodgers is no mug, top quality manager we have.
Mate cmon.. they had 18 shots same as celtic.. if they had better strikers they woulda won today. They hit crossbar etc and dominated alot if first half.. possessing was 45 to 55 in celtics favour. Embarrassing
@hulkhogan12345 They had 34% possession, and 3 shots on target...one of which was a mishit onto the bar 😂 Talk about a creative spin. Incidentally, the 2 other shots on target were from outside the box, and didn't threaten.
I think Brendan respects you Tony. He's not a man to be messed with, as certain other journo's targeted in this interview will no doubt confirm. I luuuv it 🎯👌🏻
I never saw the game but from the comments on the game the second half wasn't great from us but brendan was saying we were good so feedback would be appreciated
My last comment a no-no then 😬😅 St Mirren made a game of it, started strong, Celtic weathered it and played some good counter attacking football with a great move for the opener. Pitch surface made things difficult but it was a decent cup tie & Celtic's best team performance for a while i thought; highlights on TH-cam
I thought it was a bit stuffy at times, but I wouldn't expect anything else from a decent St.Mirren side we've struggled against recently. St.Mirren kept at it in 2nd half, but all in all it was a wee bit more positive from us, despite the tight pitch and the usual 1 or 2 really odd bits of refereeing - particularly the foul on Bernabei that he ended up giving the other way Good vision from Palma to cut it back across the 18 yard for Kyogo, and I was happy to see Maeda picking up scraps and a poachers goal that killed the game A better side might have taken some of St.Mirren's chances. Missing Hatate, Johnston & Taylor, so I'm actually encouraged by that win without them 🍀

At last, a man who talks sense.
To all my fellow Celts who are hellbent on Rodgers failing… see you and your brass necks at Hampden in May
Good to see the team play more directly today and it reap rewards
Was the second half a good performance like brendan said,I saw other ex players say the second half wasn't great but the first half was excellent
@@hooperman424 team looked good second half, got an energy boost from the subs too and finished strong...pitch made things difficult throughout
