We drew with a team today probably not as good as Hearts so you do the maths. Leicester sacked Rodgers for a reason and before you jump in to defend him just remember he has no rivals in Scotland ( allegedly ). Only guessing here but I reckon Engels cost way more than the entire Dundee United squad ( reserves included ) combined so they did remarkably well all things considered. Living in Spain I read weekly reports abt Sociedad. When KT played and that was regularly, he had big performance numbers. He did miss games but he played more, much more than he missed. If we can negotiate money I would sign him and then take care of him.

Rotation is key with KT and with hopefully Valle (assuming Taylor wants to move on and Barca have an affordable price for Valle) and Montgomery we would have plenty scope to keep Kieran fit and sharp without risking him in the easier games. He’s what we need for Europe and in my opinion a considerable upgrade on Taylor at that level.

Not sure I follow Ryan's logic in regards to KT. "Play him for an hour" "Play in half our games" If KT rejoined Celtic, he'd automatically become one of the highest earners at the club. There is absolutely no way we can justify paying a guy 40K-50K per week for playing 60 minutes per game or for only playing 25 games a season. If KT's body can no longer handle the rigours of Weekend-Midweek-Weekend-Midweek..... football then the deal is dead in the water and it's time to move on to other options.

He is very very injury prone unfortunately - put money into Valle instead. We can’t let sentimentality cloud our judgement - can’t blow the position we are in unless on a free etc - and happy on reduced wage - probably limited resale value.
