I just bought a 2014 CTS vsport premium that never sold. 20k off of sticker. This car is so good. It's the best car I have ever driven in my life!

the instrument cluster is one of the best things about the car

Enough about CUE, use the voice-activated system if you can't figure out the touch screen. Also, if you don't like the digital screen you can get the CTS V-Sport with an analog screen.

It looks like the Transformer Logo - also - like glass smartphone typing, you will get used to it and fiddle around less, enjoying the car a lot more.

Personally, I thought the video gauge criticism was nitpicking but other than that, not a bad car review.

@108548400115607965975 This is a 70K car, when the owner pays 70K for a Vsport premium, the gauges better be elegant to look at. This car should have been in all areas head and shoulders above the competition. GM before used to say that the competition charges more for their products. Compare this to a 535i it costs way more and still can't manage a nice cluster, even the 550i would have been same price or a bit cheaper. As for infotainment, BMW's i-Drive has been maturing for 10 years but Cadillac's resistance to adding a single volume / seek knob to the infotainment has been strange to say the least.

CTSM07 Your comments are subjective and a matter of opinion. I personally do not have a problem with the gauges. If the driving and handling quality is supreme, have high end quality materials, technology and has a beautiful exterior, the gauge cluster is an afterthought.
And the V-Sport is comparable to 550i, not to 535i.
Expect a change in Cue to be added in the '16 Cadillacs.

Reviews a VSport, doesn't talk about performance....

It was a V Sport not a CTS-V, it's mostly suspension and trim. Or as best I can recall from a car I reviewed 3-4 years ago.

Let me help you, the standard CTS has a 6cylinder making 310hp, the CTS-V sport has a twin turbo charged v6 making over 420hp with an 8speed trans with paddle shifters and magnetic ride...

Yeah, almost four years ago, I don't care.

@@RumblestripDotNet You cared enough to review the car then be a dick to people who watched it. I would never have watched it if I read this comment first.

I agree this is the most phenomenal production Cadillac's ever. I have the same opinion about the more critical points. With a price tag like that there can be no excuses. No detail can be left behind, absolutely no excuses. The base cluster is cheap and the upgraded cluster is not only expensive but leaves something to be desired. Forgot the resolution for a second, not even the graphical design is something to lust after. No excuses Cadillac that's why this car and the 3.6L 2.0T CTS are not selling well, the price doesn't reflect the finish and makes a hard case for the BMW and Benz owner to switch.

CTSM07 Thanks for watching! Good to see others have the same reaction as us in holding the standards high given the price point.

I have the Cadillac cts vsport, and I love it. I've never had a car as fun to drive as this one. I tell my friends, I'm in love for the first time !
