VERY Thick BRANCHES, I BENT the TRIMMER BLADES, Trimming the OVERGROWN laurel Hedge

  • I had an order scheduled to trim a Tall hedge from Laurel, just before all the Stihl tools were stolen from me, so I borrowed the Trimmers from my acquaintance, but the tools were not very stable. As the Client informed me the Hedge had to be cut down by 1.8 m. Having taken with itself two chainsaws and a mini chainsaw the Hedge was rather higher than I thought, but what I did not expect is that the Branches were Thin for a Chainsaw but Thick for a Trimmer, after several hours of work all the Trimmer has not withstood the load and the blades bent.

The two of you work like a well oiled machine,
absolutely jaw dropping that you both can
work so quickly, efficiently and proficiently!
You are by far two of the most talented and
skilled professional pruners I have ever seen
in action!!! The fact that you can do all of this
and get it perfectly level, especially on these
    enormously long perimeter hedges, shows
how incredibly talented you both are. It took
me about 5 years to get hedges perfectly straight
as you guys do so effortlessly. I have been doing
it that way for well over 45 years now. I gotta
say, that your finished projects even surpass
my abilities, bravo to you both! Beveling the top
edges of hedges, whether short or tall, is a
very elegant touch to your jobs, and I am
sure sets your pruned landscapes apart from
the competition. Keep up the good work, it

Hi there, last year I had the same problems while cutting down a big laurel hedge: Branches were too thin for a chainsaw and too thick for a trimmer. I finally used a saber-saw (Säbelsäge). But when you do this, you will face also two problems: You need electric power and you will have to cut the branches down one by one which takes an awful lot of time which your customer will probably not be happy about. But for me it worked out fine. By the way: Great Teamwork ("Teamwork can make a dream work", as they say). Great channel - i will leave a subscribtion. Best regards.

Wow, I can't believe someone would steal your equipment. You are always so careful storing things back in the van. I'm glad you got new equipment. On this job what you borrowed worked almost to the end, thank goodness only a little bit had to be cut with the lopers. You two are the hardest workers trimming hedges, and cleaning up. As always your work is excellent. God bless you and yours. Please stay safe.

You do a fantastic job in spite of having to work with borrowed tools. I love your attention to detail! Also, you make very interesting videos, full of a variety of different views and angles. It’s also entertaining to see you guys have your lunch, look at jet contrails, etc. I’ve tried to spot the cameras you use, but I think I’ve only spotted a shadow once in all the videos I’ve watched. Your channel is one of my favourites!

Thank you very much, I'm very happy to hear that you like my videos, I try to make them a little more dynamic. I shoot all my videos on my Gopro. I also like to pay attention to small details and I think it makes my videos more interesting.

Wow the damage to the tools is big. They should have the hedge trimmed much earlier than letting it grow so much. I hope you would charge this job extra. Take care

That was a long hard day for you and the equipment. Equipment gave out, so tiring. Good job. Stolen, gosh , i hope they pay for the bad they have done one way or another. They probably watch your videos, unfortunately. time for double padlocks. 🙏🙏

At first: good video with a amazing result!
But I Think benting your blade is not the goal of the game.I use a chainsaw on a shaft with the strongest Fuelengine from Stihl and afterward the hedgetrimmer. You may be have to the trimming twice, but the cuts a cleaner and not derstroying your expensive equipment are 2 good reasons.
This is obviously not the prayer bush, but another way; just a tip from one landcaper to the other.
We all learn while we doing, so keep on going.😍

Definently an outstanding job, thinking I suggested instead of up and down the ladder, apair of stilts like what drywallers use. Just a thanks to your Dr. Watson for his magnificent clean ups, he does you justice. It was great watching you do your hedge thing, you master the wood so well, sorry you lost two clippers. It was so nice seeing you out in you pajamas, you ware green so well. Lots of love. Afriend.

Wow it's sad people steal things, sorry to hear that, despite all that you two did a fantastic job as always, when I was a child here in Texas, our local Pharmacy was Kustorez Pharmacy, Take care, those Jets were awesome, probably NATO, haha

Fantastic job, but think you would be wise to invest in some tarpaulins so that you can lay them down to catch all the trimmings so much easier to clean up this way than having to gather, rake and carry , also faster and less manual labour too.

    • @kustorez777
      @kustorez777  ปีที่แล้ว

Thank you for the tip, I don't always use a tarp because it sometimes takes a lot longer to get ready than it does to clean up!
