Bro I took a break from fishing as whole, mainly because of a new job and being able to purchase my very first home.
That being said as much as I’ve been having to put aside the itch to fish I’ve glad I took this break because I’m coming back 1000x more focused as well as being able to binge watch your videos for the next few weeks.

I’ve been kicked out of that lake creek spillway pond so many times that i quit going. It’s Karenville. I’ve literally drove an hour to get there once and got kicked out before I could make my first cast.

That swimbait eat was sick. It was cat and mouse for sure. I had to drag a 2” swimbait to get bit in ponds the last two days for some little bass, those 30 deg nights have them lethargic big time. Nice video dude.

That’s the fishlab bio gill slow sink. I have 2. A Bluegill one and crappie one. The crappie one is a killer if you fish ponds with lots of crappie. Big bass over 3-4+ pounds eat lots of crappie.

Fish that are starving and unpressured, they explode like that. Sadly most tiny tiny ponds and pond chains here in DFW are never stocked with anything so it's just skinny bass after skinny bass. But at least they're often aggressive

Love the pond videos. Wish I knew more about how to fish the swim baits. We have a lot of ponds over populated with bait fish. I think a swim bait would definitely produce big bites!
They are shad,minnow or bluegill? If they ate minnow i suggest you a lure i use here in italy for bass that imitate minnow like nothing else is called "black minnow" from fiish it has a lot of mesure and color but the "kaki" coloration is the more similar lure to a minnow i ever see

Looks like the bluegill swim bait might be a FishLab BioGill. Very nice and really inexpensive series of baits from Okuma.
I use the weightless wacky rig the same way had alot of catches keeping it moving

I grew up around dallas. Grand Prairie and Cedar Hill specifically. I really wish that I knew about Urban Fishing back then, I never believe you could catch fish in the city and my parents never really went Outdoors so I didn't get into fishing till recently. Looks like a lot of fun

It’s cold and already have snow on the ground here in Michigan. I believe the time to hang the rods up for the winter has arrived…😔
Jon you know you remind me of Mike Icconelli back in the day, he use to do these type of Urban Fishing in the big city, it was called i think Urban City Limits,
Hawaii fishing… I would fish big spooks, big hairjigs and live bait under a big cork or fishing live bait on bottom with a steel leader, drop shot with 30lb or 50lb floro connected to a barrel swivel to reduce line twist.
you almost sent that first bass to space haha
