There’s a few really good videos on TH-cam that really helped me when learning to throw a cast net, there’s a few folds that you have to make and a grip for how you hold it that opens up the net and keeps it flat! Thanks for the video :)

Hey LOJO I got my Googan bass box today. An took the jig that came in the box an put a ned rattling worm as a trailer on it an I hooked me an 8 pounder!! I’m talking from a pond that’s only produced 2’s 3’s an one 4.8 but this was a good un! Got my picture an let the ‘Ol girl go. I Love Googan baits! Hope to get a rod one day. Godspeed brother!

Im sure the "Random pipe" you seen flowing into the creek, was simply a French Drain. For some low levels of elevation where water pools in ones yard, one would tend to put a French drain in place to help prevent washouts and big puddles of resting water.
@Lojo I just went creek fishing for the first time in my life I caught 2 large mouth bass, 1 spotted, and panfish/blue gill.

For some the exploring like this is the draw. Any fish are a bonus. A friend and I occasionally forego the boats and lakes and just drive around and find interesting fishing spots out of the way like this via satellite maps ala 618 fishing. Usually always creek or river adjacent(Mississippi river or Minnesota river for us in Mn.) in search of big walleyes and muskies who like to get up in some remarkably skinny water out of the main current.

I think you should go throw the cast net around at the river on your big property. That would be pretty cool to see what all y'all can catch. Maybe catch some Creek chubs and take them to eufaula and catfish with them

So I would recommend a brand called crappie thunder it's a lure that works great in creeks. Put your chose of plastic on the back. And when i do creek fishing I always catch bass and warmouth sunfish. Jftr so much fun.

Have you guys ever fished the creek that runs through the Forever Wild trails? I run out there quite a bit and see a lot of bluegill/bream. Not sure about bass though. Love the vids.
Holes like that is why wading staffs are a must. Feel your way through where you cannot see.

New challenge idea, could just be your own self challenge. Stand up paddle board fishing #bote #bugslinger. Absolutely love the stealth of a paddle board and keeping balance in the key. Also I use a fly rod and spinner but that's all up to you lol. Hope we can see fall in or possibly keep ur balance. Love the channel!
