European here, how can you use right handed casting reels, cast and swap hands and Job B in this video uses a left handed spinning, it seems very weird, i started using casting combos for fun and only use my left hand to reel, the rod never leaves the right hand.
Idk I’m right handed but I also swap to the left hand to reel with my right. Everyone asks me how and why I do that but it’s just second nature at this point.
most people do this, but to answer your question most us older guys use right hand on spinning reels because it was rare to find a left hand retrieve back in the day and that's really what most of us learned on until 151 baitcasters became more popular, as a right handed fisherman I much prefer left handed bait casters, switching hands is just counter productive depending on your style. for some people who dead stick it doesn't matter much

I'd never try to catch any bass of size on small hook swim jig heads, they get spit all the time. They do produce numbers though.

Jon I’ve been using the 2.5” snacky swimmer on a Great Lakes finesse underspin and it is LETHAL for those small swimbait bass. They will eat it harder than a bare swimbait. I also lost an 8 Sunday and a 7 today at the boat. I felt that pain you had so hard. I’m glad you got redemption! A 9 and a 8 is an insane day.
