      Little bit more to it than simply switching which side the 'ejector' is on. For starters, let's not get ejectors and extractors mixed up. To change the ejection from right side to left side you have to move the 'extractor' from the right side of the bolt to the left side, then you have to swap the ejector's position with the bolt stop in the trigger group portion of the firearm.

      Tim Bero originally pulled design concept from the M31 Suomi. And overall many of the sub guns from that era. So while it is it's own design he basically took the old school sub guns and applied it to the needs of a Bush pilot (Tim Bero is also a pilot) needing a gun they can put in a survival kit or backpack. Don’t do it!! Real Ar pistols are way more reliable, less problematic, and function way better. I know too many folks that have had issues with these. They lure folks in with their interchangeable caliber capability for a cheap price, but you sacrifice reliability and quality just to do this a little less expensive than typical upper swapping with ar’s.

    Enjoy shooting my TNW rifle . Had several issues at first with it from the trigger breaking 🙈 to push pins jamming and breaking 🙄 to the barrel I ordered in 45 acp being rusted all up😒 BUT....... any and all issues I had I called TNW up and they sent the fix out to me asap every single time. I have the parts to do 45 acp , 40 , 357 sig , 10mm and 9mm and its very enjoyable to shoot especially suppressed . Takes all my glock mags , I put the stock on it that I wanted , just a really well versed rifle . TNW makes an awesome product and they stand behind all of their products like a true company would . Customer for life here . I wish they could take their customer service abilities and train the tools at PSA............. never buying their products again they never fixed one damn issue on any product I use to own of their's...........

      Sure can

    • @raskolnikovsghost2701
      @raskolnikovsghost2701 4 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      Yeah we’ve got optics that last years on a set of batteries/y. Plus auto off/shake on. And then there’s solar powered re-charging. Irons should be taught to any and everyone with the rest of the basics. I agree if you can’t use your rifle with irons, you really can’t use it. That being said... it’s not 1993 anymore. You can get a quality RDS for $100 or so. Low power variables for not much more. BUIS are recommended. But I’m not sure they’re still a necessity. Carry a single spare battery (often in the grip or fore grip) and you’ve got battery for a few years. You can find more batteries or something to substitute in that time. EMP what you’re worried about? Then yeah, probably. But realistically speaking, you’re probably okay without. Today $50 ammo > $50 BUIS

      @campbluedog7139 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yep. Ruger makes some tough, affordable BUIS that will also right onto that rail.
      I've got a set on my Banshee 10mm. Was kind of hesitant about them, because they're so affordable (cheap). But, after a couple thousand rounds, a northern Michigan deer season, and banging around in the back seat of the truck for a year, they've proven themselves.

    I absolutely love mine. I have my R5 set to about thirty feet and it is frikkin’ lethal. Great little gun. As far as its designation as a “survival” pistol I’d have to disagree a little bit. The easy removal of the barrel is great but otherwise there are a lot of small parts which is a big consideration for field stripping and cleaning out of doors. And like our astute videographer noted, it does get dirty quickly. That being said, it shoots well dirty. Way better than many other guns when they get dirty.

Second time shooting it I put another 100-150 rounds through but this time I kept getting jams. It was all the same kind of jam too. Not sure what its called but it was a failure to eject the spent round but still feed the new round. Sometimes the new round would be in barrel or stuck along side with the spent round. Happened like a dozen times. Is this a gas problem? Or should I clean it up really nice and see if it helps... I'm a dumbass. It's blowback. I think the proliferation of PCCs with more engineered actions like the MPX, Stribog and CMMG Banshee on the high end, and other neat options in straight blowback like the AK-V and now AR-V have left things like this and the older "Just Right" carbines lost in the middle but I still imagine they'll sell. The PCC market is just saturated right now, and a good thing too considering demand is at an all time high.

    i think 3,4 people shooting can sing a song, the target plat tuning the right tone or note when the bullet land on. and one shooter for tempo ,like a drummer, make tempo like bom ba bom ba ,just do some math about how far and bullet speed, sound and bullet flying in different speed ,so you can hear fire sound form you gun first then hear the note when bullet land on target plat. i think can be fun.

    The reason, in my opinion since I own the carbine version, for the lack of last round bolt hold open is when you "slam" home a mag it can overseat the mag and cause a malfunction. I believe Hickock45 had those issues when testing the carbine version. I'm currently looking for the 357 Sig version but I will most likely have to order it from the factory. Stay safe and have a Happy New Year.

    I actually think it's easy to take down, if you don't have that handguard. You have to get used to pushing the barrel inward to remove the bolt handle, which makes the entire upper come apart. Easy peasy. The stock/buffer assembly is the one weird section to take down and replace. BTW I have this in 9, 10, 40, & 45.

      They are drastically better than a Vector. I shot my buddies, and it was drastically better in every way then the vector 10mm that I owned. Lighter, just as accurate, more compact, easy to break down, and the safety is in a better position.

      @Nate i bought the 10mm when it first came out, man was i excited! I was ultimately let down. The position of the safety was terrible, under recoil with heavy rounds (even with the reduced recoil of the action), it drove the safety into my thumb, making shooting incredibly uncomfortable to say the least.
