- Buzzing my head AGAIN! The back had grown into a weird mullet so here I go, shaving my head again, trying to achieve a shaved undercut pixie / feminine DIY modern mohawk. How do you think it came out?? Do you prefer the pixie haircut before or after? Is this a great how to shave your own pixie undercut tutorial, or a cautionary tale for Brad Mondo to roast!?!? LMAO!! Who knew I'd grow so fond of my girl buzzcut that I'd shave my head again! Buzzcut women rock!!

I just found your channel and love it! I’ve had my hair every colour, buzzed a few times, currently growing out a buzz and actually love the lil mullet you started with in this vid..that’s my current goal then a longer pixie mullet! Wondering how you keep your hair so healthy through all the colours? That I have not masters but yours looks amazing
not over bleaching i think is key. when i double bleached the ends at one point, it totally fried them, i don't recommend that, a little chunk on the back of my head actually broke off despite sleeping on silk pillow LOL!! for colors, i stick to the "semi permanents" with no amonia... these are typically actually very good for your hair, like deep conditioning and coloring at the same time!! then, having a really good mask to use occasionally is also a good idea. a couple i've used and love are (commission earning amazon affiliate links):

both are great and budget friendly :) they really help bring the crunchy bleached hair back to silky smooth and lovely!!
i've been buzzing my hair for 18yrs....I go from really short pixie, to pixie undercut, to buzzed all off......so much fun...who says short hair has to be boring!

So great to seem someone else with same fun spirit about their hair. I used to buzz my own hair all the time. I tried to pay for a haircut last week after letting mine grow since last year from the last buzz cut, and had to come home and fix the hairdresser did, and I like my work better than hers. Oh my god... I've literally just had the disaster from hell with my hair! I had a pixi ... then Trimmed sides ( trimmed being the operative word) and ended up with super short hair.

I always go straight back with it I've kept this cut for several years now most cute cut and so easy to take care of once in awhile I will spike out the back. Iove getting hair tattoos on the sides stars flowers etc favorite cut guess that is why every 5 to 6 weeks I have it done. Love ❤️ 😍 💖 ❣️ you're color by the way. You look beautiful 😍

I did a #8 on top and a #2 on the back and sides. I didn't really know what to do with that crown hair where the top meets the back (what you used a #8 on at the end). I hardly hit it at all just naturally doing the back and thought the length difference looked weird. Then, I did a #2 on it, and turns out that hair is a lot less dense, so the #2 I did looks like a small bald spot and now it looks weirder. Maybe I should have done something in the middle of those lengths.
ooooops!!! it'll grow out ;) when i did this cut on my son a few years ago i brought the U-line way too far forward and it looked horrible LOL! you live you learn!!
@@ItsJustHairwithHeather When I get my hair cut at the barber, I usually get 2 inches scissor cut on top and a #1 on the sides/back. I coulda sworn they somehow buzzed the hair on the crown really short, but I haven't really been paying close attention either.
