How I Shave and Cut My Pixi Haircut

- Here's how I cut my pixi cut! I only cut the sides and my nags in this video because that's all I currently needed done. Last time I cut my hair, I cut it shorter than usual, so I'm growing out some of my lengths still. If you want to cut all over the length, just keep repeating how I cut my bangs. Hold a section straight up and cut the same amount from each section. It's very easy. That's even how I cut my pixi from when I had shoulder length hair.

I watched this a few times then did it myself, came out pretty good for first time. Thanks for the video. An ad at the top of the video got in the way of seeing what you were doing at one point and then at another spot your top of your head was cut off so I couldnt see the back.

Great cut! I just did mine this afternoon...first time ever.. I have curly hair, styled in pixie cut in early Feb....so it's close to mushroom shape by May. I thought since it's curly, hopefully any stray can be covered by the curls. 😊

Jill Lopate hair always grows back, if you’re wanting to try a pixi give it a try! If you’re scared wait til quarantine is over and get the first cut done by a professional, this works for upkeep/to save money over time. I have a friend who is 72 and we have the same haircut, she gets compliments all the time

This lady has beautiful short hair I hope I can get a shaver like the one she is using on her hair to save me going to the barbers everytime my hair wants cutting short I always get my hair cut short and keep my face clean_shaven which is better than having bloody facial hair which grows so darned fast on the face

Thanks for posting this. I wanted to see if it would work to do this at home with just clippers for the back because I’m tired of using scissors over comb method on my own head and spending so much time. I think the result is clearly YES!

Noble Tenz The bigger the guide less is cut. She used #1 which cuts hair to one inch from the head. So she has one inch of hair all around the bottom of her head 😊 Hope this helps 😉

Love love LOVE how your hair looks! I really want to do this, but I've read that doing a clipper cut will make the hair stick straight out from the head, instead of lying flat. However, yours looks like it is lying flat beautifully! Is that because you have thin/fine hair? Or did you wet it? Or is it simply due to the long guard length? I'm nervous to try it because my hair is thicker and I don't want to look like a porcupine, lol! 😂
Angie Hepp I cant really say, I think your hair would only stick straight out if you have cowlicks. Having fine hair possibly helps, I’ve never had thick hair so I can’t compare.
I’d say go get your cut by a professional the first time, watch exactly what they do and then recreate it at home every 4-6 weeks when you need trims

Was good but 1 suggestion reposition your camera so you are framed more centrally enabeling the viewer to clearly see what you are doing. Please not a dig just as a ex media student im just mentioning it. Very easy to follow video i love the music too. i myself cut my own pixie 😃🖒
