I heard all about the school on our Hershey tour. What a gift for a parent to be able to send their child there. The Milton’s were the most giving people to set up this trust. You were so fortunate to have had a tour. I will always remember this school when I eat my Hershey and Reese’s bars!
I’ve been to Hershey park and the Rv show many times….I didn’t know anything about this. What a great place. Let me go buy a Hershey bar 😊I think we need MORE schools like this.

Being from Harrisburg, having music lessons in Hershey for 6+ years, working at the Park for 2 seasons and living in the town for over a year, this one struck a chord, hit home for my wife and I. wow my mom is from Daisytown PA and I wish she and my dad sent us there. I would probably be sooo much better in life. Im good now but i would love to have had the opportunity.
My grandparents were what Milton Hershey School calls house parents for 25+ years, I used to spend a few summers with them when the kids were at their home location for a break. Their house was West of the high school. Its name was Greenfields.
Great timing, my wife and I are going next month. We will be in the Hershey area three days and Gettysburg four days. A little food (chocolate) for thought!
We are trying to find the video that Howard recommended purchasing the National Parks self guided audio tour. We will be going out west and thought that was a great suggestion. Can you tell me which one, we thought yours was the best one.
