Lilly, as you get older you will be so appreciative of the time Grand Dad spent showing all this wealth of music.Been a while Steve since heard this, love it.Both enjoy day. ...................................................................................................................................................list "you're the one" by Vogues
Another fantastic song from Dusty. ! Lilly is lucky listening to such a great song for the first time ! .I was about her age when I first heard it in 1967. . 😀
It is the intelligent kids like Lilly, who are getting this kind of musical education and not just being exposed to modern mainstream rubbish, that will keep good music alive and relevant for her generation and the generations of tomorrow.
Dusty sang some great songs. Perhaps you could explore some Petulant Clarke songs too. Down town, don't sleep in the subway, the other man's grass..... loads to find there.
Top quality song from the very sadly missed Dusty. I also love her version of The Look of Love. Speaking of that one, I would suggest playing Lilly some Brasil '66, they had some great songs, including a superb version of The Look of Love, and for some reason there are not too many reactions to the group on YT. Nice reaction from Lilly to her introduction to Dusty.
How about the rain, the park, and other thing's by the Cowsills, such great harmonies in it. Also, I only want to be with you by Dusty, and also the version by Nicolette Larson that's just as good. Thanks😊😊
1967 was a great music year; Procol Harum's Whiter Shade of Pale, Beatles Sergeant Pepper to name a few. She will do fine on the quiz, Dusty had some great songs, thanks for posting!!!!
This is one of those songs that will pop into your head from nowhere. It's followed me round all my life. Everyone misses someone special and this song talks about that feeling better than any other. Nice choice.
Really loved Dusty in my childhood remember her on Ready steady go miming to this she ended up dancing with the audience. Have a happy birthday on Monday Steve. Lilly buy grandad something really nice he's a treasure.
Fun fact, Neil Tenant of Pet Shop Boys was a fan of Dusty's voice. He and Chris Lowe wrote 'What Have I Done To Deserve This' with Dusty in mind. I took some convincing to get Dusty who hadn't had a hit record since the early 70s. It got to #2 UK charts, and helped to propel her own sales.
Yes Mikey, after two years with no problems whatsoever, TH-cam now disable the comments on every single video I post. I put them back on, they turn them off again. This normally happens at least 20 times on every video before they finally seem to leave things alone. Makes me wonder why I'm bothering to upload anything to be honest.

Dusty had such a great voice, so sultry and smooth. Had her Dusty in Memphis album, a real classic.
Classic track of the 60s 😅classic dusty
Thanks gorgeous 😍
Burt Bacharach songs are brilliant. Such as Raindrops keep falling on my head. Do you know the way to San Jose.

Yes I'll do that Andrew, I've already got one in the folder called My Love.
Lilly... forget stuff... as if grandad 😊
❤ from Northeast England ❤️
Ah the days of Moms with their heads under those huge hair dryers at the beauty shop! lol The song? Thumbs down. Lilly? Cute as a button.
No, that's a good song.
Dusty has a beautiful voice. ''You don't have to say you love me '' is my fav.
PetulanClark, sign of the times I feel is perhaps her best
3:08 Looks like she's aboard the Tardis from a 60s episode of DW! LOL!
Dusty was amazing! Great, unique voice, and this is one of her best songs/performances!

Hi Lilly!! Can you introduce her to The Castaways - Liar Liar?
Great song! I actually owned the original single! I loved it then, and I love it still today. It's "Eargastic" !!!
Wasn't that song in Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels?
@@Lilly8ListensYes it was!
@@Lilly8Listens I'm not really sure, dear ....

Hi, is there a reason comments are turned off on your latest video with Duran Duran?
