Thank you so much for being so descriptive with the information. I went fishing over a decade with friends and I didn't pay attention to all of these details. Now I want to take my kids fishing and I hard time putting the rods together. I knew I was missing something, and yes, I need to change the weights and add a bobber. We are going back to fresh water fish tomorrow, and we will use real worms. I am so excited. 😊

Totally agree! Zach, you are a wonderful teacher. I learned more with your video than I have in a lifetime of fishing. My line recently started twisting and bunching up. Now I know why! I bought an inexpensive pool for immediate use. The line was already wound onto it, but I can't find the spot where I can pull it out. Should I just use my fingernail clippers to cut it?
Zach you’re the man. These are great videos! My only suggestion is slow down just a hair. Sometimes I have to listen to a section 2-3 times. You have so much great info to share. I’m going fishing this week. Keeping my fingers crossed.

can you also show a video on what you actually do with the fish you caught? How you handle the fish safely so you don’t get bitten or get stung by their fins or something like that. Or if you release them, how to unhook them from the hook and release them. Or if to cook them, how to properly handle the fish. Like, I am so not an outdoorsy person nor am I very familiar with getting hands on with fish like slicing them or cleaning them then frying or grilling. But I would really love to learn. I bet many others are on the same page too. Maybe?
I went fishing for the first time 2 weeks ago with my co-worker. Caught no fish, sunburned really bad, spent near $200.00 with bait, license, food, gas, hook got me twice, than He had the nerve to buy me a pink fishing rod with lights…. Cute. So brought 4 fishing rods in Walmart for my kids! So frustrated with others videos because it did not help me assembling but this videos is the best.
