my therapy has the excersies Ive received in the beginning plus those you advise on and recommend. I write and record music using my right hand.
doing daily things and pushing myself is my therapy, today I gardened cleaned the patio it took forever, but I did it. I drive with my right side so my independence is back., I cry a lot for no reason ( pain in the Ass)...Music and Art saved me from totally giving up on life. I guess after 13 months I'm doing okay, this is why I consider myself lucky...nuero fatigue is intense after a day like today.
YOU ARE A GOD SEND for so many. I first listened to you my first week in the hospital I was in for a month at the Acute Rehab at the California Pacific Medical Center.
but haven't met with a real stroke neurologist yet . insurance said no need, won't pay ....arrggg major anger with that .
Writing, if you cant write dictate. Stroke is like a fingerprint.

Guayama, Puerto Rico. I have suffered various stroke and it hasn't been easy recovering because I have lost walking&talking with each one. I do suffer from a condition called idiopathic intracranial hypertension. I have had a couple lumbar punctures which do not help at all. The headaches every time are worse. The headaches usually cause me syncope. I suffer them every couple of days, putting My brother and his wife in terror. I live alone so it's hard dealing. Doctor please use my conditioning on one of your videos.

Sonoma County California, This coming Thursday, I have a video conference with Dr. Wade Smith, director of the UCSF Neurovascular Service, specializes in stroke prevention, management of acute stroke, critical care medicine and medical management after stroke...I ve waited year to see him. I had a basil ganglia infarction last year. I consider myself lucky! lI walk with a cane and AFO, no use yet of the left arm ...and. do you have any suggestions on the type of questions I should be asking. Ive been following you since my stroke.. yes Insurance sucks. right now I'm on my own. I was a firefighter/Emt / musician when this happened.

Hi Ken, Music is so powerful for healing! I dont know of any music for tone specifically but in general there are 2 approaches to bringing music into your recovery program: 1) Use any music you have loved (the longer you and the music go back, the better!) and 2) Use any music with a tempo you can keep up with to set a rhythm. Thanks for being here with us!
