Some time around 1996. SEGA wanted to make a pilot for an anime featuring him and he had to learn how to talk in order to fill the role as himself. It didn't get off the ground though, so they just wrote it off as a two-part made-for-tv-movie. Strange, isn't it?
But the Saturn's failure was largely the fault of Sega of America. It made bank and became a cult classic in Japan, but when it came to America, the guy who was running the show decided to restrict localization on games that weren't 3D out of a desire to compete directly with the Playstation, which ended up crippling the library since Saturn's true calling was with 2D and 2.5D games.

Codenamegamma has has cheat tables that he makes himself, and he releases then online, one of the codes is “moon jump”.

It looks like Classic Sonic was developed later in the work cycle in Forces than he was in Generations. Either that or they left more leftovers from Modern Sonic in his code when developing him.

The drop dash only seems to actually do something in 3D besides making you roll if you do if after bouncing off an enemy.

Drop dash presses jump in the air. So it can be done 3D as well cause that's a possible mechanic given the activation. But not a spin dash from ground, because their is no input for classic to bend down in 3D.

Now we can stop saying that classic sonic is from another dimension, because he survived the 3D dimension
JORDAN CHELLAN I think it works in 3D is because in Classic Sonic's stages, the Dropdash only goes in straight line so Classic Sonic doesn't have a problem using the Dropdash in 2D or 3D, think of the Dropdash as Classic Sonic's 3D spindash/roll attack. Sadly I don't think there is a way to give Classic Sonic his elemental shields or the insta-shield.

Brandon Network It’s a Moon Jump cheat he enabled to get pass areas that would’ve otherwise been impossible to traverse through.

If somebody could mod a homing attack, SADX levels would be fully playable. Maybe a ring dash too.
It'll be cool if SEGA made Classic Sonic have the super peel out and make it work similar to the boost but for classic Sonic

If Jaleel White never goes back to do the voice of Classic Sonic. Maybe they can get Sonic’s voice actor from Sonic CD or Sonic OVA (if they’re still alive that is). If they can’t get them, maybe they can find someone who can perfectly do a Classic Sonic impression.
It honestly makes me really disappointed that forces is just generations (an actual good game) but recycled and diluted to the point where the game is just so boring, shallow and unengaging. Unlike mania which was the better game that came from 2017.
