I played El DeBarge's rhythm guitarist in this episode. Thanks for posting this review.

Nice car chase. Ferrari vs Lamborghini

If you look at the tail lights, you'll notice they used two different Lambos.

First off, Morgan, I discovered your channel a few weeks ago, and I really love your content. Just wanted to mention that Karla Bonoff had a top 20 hit with "Personally", circa 1982.

This episode deserves 5 gold flamingos for the Lamborghini/"Ferrari" chase by itself!
I recorded this episode on VHS when it originally aired, and as I watched the chase, I noticed some "blips" in a couple of shots. I backed up the tape, and watched it in slow motion: not only were they really driving at high speed, they also cut in-between oncoming traffic!!!
An amazing scene for a television show.

The series has perfected its original recipe at this point, with one hit episode after another. Not too long until the makers change it up completely.

Yeah, this stretch of season two was a smooth-running machine, with nothing but strong episodes. It won't last forever.

I always imagined the final scene as a dream sequence as Gina was so distraught over Odette's death and the elusive nature of justice for the Vice team.

I took it as being real. I also thought it made 2 additional points .... when you live by the sword, you very well may die that way, and no matter how big you are, there is always going to be someone bigger than you.

These critiques remind me more and more that whatever flaws MV had, it was just largely misunderstood by critics. They were always comparing it less favorably to Hill St. Blues.
