It's a shame Tina's red hot beef burrito is totally different compared to the 80's and early 90's when they were bigger and had pronounced ground beef in them. 5 for a $1 super market deals were the best.

And now I am 100% hooked! the whole family and the whole town and now the city is hooked too. These burritos blow away all competition. They are SO good that it's hard to purchase them in my Shawnee/Tecumseh OK area. The shelf space is small at our stores, 4 boxes is not enough for all of us us! Lol. I feel like I hit the jackpot when I found a box of 8 or 12 burritos all in one box! 😂

i have been eating chimmy changas made by el montery . we get them in a value pack . i wonder if tina has a competing product . i was on the red hot burrito for a while and i still have them although the green chille one is good . i think they are all fairly simlar tho . but you need to deep fry one ....

Tina’s are my favorite hands down!!! You can always afford them at their ramen noodle prices. If you’ve been low on funds and super hungry they will save your life!!! Beef and Bean / Green Chili are the best. Thank you and keep rolling those bad boys out!!!

That's actually an AMAZING idea. As it is, I put them in the fridge to let them thaw instead of keeping them frozen. 30 seconds each side and it comes out perfect every time. No frozen, or worse, dry and mealy center. But canned.....genius.
ate these in elementary up to freshman year or so, 25 now, pop one of these in while my coffee water boils and eat in on the way to work in LA traffic, tastes great but brings me back, these burritos are awesome

My grandma brought two of them today from Walmart, just ate one as a post workout snack, even though it’s late, they’re super tasty, I play drums so I burn those calories so quick in 30 minutes, I’ll definitely be a sponsor if I got the chance haha they’re bomb.

Used to love these in the early 90s. Was at the acme today and saw them and got a few beef and the red spicy. The red spicy was pretty good. Hit the spot. Cheap at 79 cents.
Don't microwave, thaw and fry in a little bit of oil till golden brown and delicious.

Seriously..... Package the Red Hot Beef flavor filling in pouches like other companies do now with refried beans, microwave rice, tuna, chili etc. and sell em in the frozen or refrigerated section. That will catapult Tina's brand into "Flamin' Hot" popularity.

I’m usually not a critic but the packaging won me over. The cost is good too. I like that the packaging was bright and simple. Then I opened the package. Still good. But, the burrito…bean and cheese was Tasteless, had to add multiple layers of Cholula hot sauce for flavor. Please improve the product by adding your own sauce into the product. I didn’t get much cheese either. Thank you for your time.

I love these but THEY CHANGED THEM I dont know if the good ones still sell went from 5/5 to 2/5 because the shell tastes the same but the beans are crunchy and its spicer its just not the same

Mama said SHE makes the best burritos. Seriously though, your company rocks in my book. I have many choices in crappy burrito companies to choose from, at the store that provide what they do from vendors, but I always look for your name. If I don't see it, I move on to the next cooler door for lasagna or something else.

I'm gonna take a "middle of the road," approach here. Tina's burritos are by far, not the best, nor the worst. I do quality burritos at home. Carnitas, Mojo marinated Carne Asada, Al'Pastor. You name it, I do it. However, Tina's,
Might the best of the pre-frozen microwave convenience burritos available, especially at that price point. I've had them all. I can actually detect the presence of meat in Tina's. The beans are part of the filling and fully cooked, unlike Tina's competitors, which are rock hard and freezer burnt. With that said, Tina's is an inexpensive convenience food, not delicious, not at all fancy, but not bad. That's whywhen trying to recreate a good, pre-frozen burrito, I turned to Tina's for inspiration. I opted for the larger size, but not giant, tortilla, trying to perfectly fill said burrito, with the perfect amount of filling, no superfluous tortilla, nor leakage. The amount was illusive. However, I managed.
If Tina's did this, I would almost never, go through the trouble, of making this on my own. But I did, and it was delicious. I diced Chuck roast, browned it, "bloomed" classic taco spices in the fat, added finer ground beef, some wet ingredients, and simmered until tender. I allowed said mixture to cool, folded in a small amount of cheese, some refried beans, and rehydrated with my favorite taco sauce. I softened the tortillas, conservatively filled them, which the perfect amount. There was no leaking nor superfluous dough. I wrapped them in plastic, then foil. I froze them but always thawed them before heating. Absolutely delicious. Thawing is the key. Always thaw your burritos, no breakage, no crunchy frozen centers, well worth it.
