Who's calling Clara useless? Svarog is coming for them.
She is more like a situational unit. You either need enemies that use aoe attacks so she can get hit more often or for them to be fast af so she can consistently get the counter procs

I used a team of
Robin Topaz Clara Fu xuan
and with this team on f2p builds my Clara just one shot a boss while farming for ornaments on the simulated universe

I think it's better to put aventurine beside clara in the middle so if aventurine gets hit it's more likely that clara gets hit (cuz kafka does AOE)! Especially if you have the gepard MoV LC on him. And likewise if clara gets hit with aoe it'll hit Aventurine which will allow more FU from him.

In that regard, it's why March is Clara's greatest teammate because she will increase the aggro rate of the characters she shields

@@CozmicRealities March is the best f2p option for new players*. However, she cannot guarantee which target gets hit and cannot protect team from AoE. She also may freeze an enemy making them unable to attack and get Svarog'd (stalls for no reason).
Lynx is slightly better but she doesnt provide anything but heal.
Ultimately the greatest protecting unit is Aventurine since he helps agaist AoE, shleids A LOT and increases Crit DMG with ult + also has synergy with Clara's FuAs.

Clara - Robin - Tingun - Huohuo passes MoC 12-2 for 2 cycles
Clara best hypercarry now is tingyun Clara robin huo huo im a clara main (my robin is e1s1) she counter up to 250k 3 target and 160 single target in moc
my clara also does somewhat lower damage but i dont have e1s1 robin

Ratio LC doesnt have a debuff, this effect is considered a buff not a debuff...
But Topaz and Aventurine LC's do have debuffs.
On this video( on the Ratio+Clara+Robin part), i can see 3 effects that is considered debuffs, which is imprisonment, Aventurine's Ult (CDMG taken) and Ratio's E (eff res down)
No ratio lc does count as debuff I own it

And i own it aswell, it just gives him a buff, literally checked ingame just now.
The part where it says enebels them to ignore the target deff (important to note bc it works on the target of the ult its your clue to know its a debuff without in game testing wich just strait up proves it font realy know if i can dum it dowm more so if u still dont get it then im sorry its not me its u )so in shor it gives a buf AND a debuff
youre right, its not a debuff. i have it and it only counts as a buff
@@obamassirname9190 no dude, the ult activates the effect and then it buffs the FUA of the wearer to ignore the def whenever it lands. It's the same effect with Ruan Mei's E1 where her ult gives allies def ignore when they attack. If the description doesn't say "apply" to the enemy then it will not give anything to the enemy. I have the lc and the only thing applied was Ratio's ult mark and it was labeled "other effects".

Counter team comp goes crazy with her, its actually so fun. Robin, Aventurine, Yunli, Clara (in that order). since most attacks will be targeted at Yunli, if an aoe attack hits, Aventuring gains 4 stacks followed by a followup attack from both yunli and clara (another 2 aventurine stacks).
Give it a try if you're interested, it's currently my core team.
my goat Clara is still standing after all those updates.
personally, i use (in this order) Robin, Clara Aventurine and Dr Ratio as my main team, and i usually do 4 to 3 cycles in MoC.
im lucky that i have Dr Ratio cone, aventurine E1S1 and Clara E2 with Imbibitor Lunae's cone
And getting stronger if you are willing to pull for yunli lc

Rn I'm using clara, robin, tingyun, and coffin healer guy. As of now my enhanced follow up attack damage is 200k

i don't have robin but using bronya (I have Clara e3 and only Clara main know what I mean) And my Clara still doing 177k per FUA and 57k per skill (on 1 enemy)

Dr. Ratio doesn’t need his signature lc bc it doesn’t provide any debuffs. He needs either E1 or S1 topaz or S1 aventurine for that
I don't really touch meta in the game, but I know that March 7th, Clara, Robin, and a sustainer of choice (I use Gallagher) is a pretty good team if your enemies have phys and ice weakness 👍
Could be an inaccurate take, but Clara feels like Himeko where she has setts in places where she really shines and is really good in, but she isn’t as universal as other dps characters like Blade

Well we have Yun Li which is 2 counter attack.
My setup for the counter attack team would be Robin, Clara, Yunli and Adventurine which Yun Li will use ult to taunt and most enemy can hit 3 targets so Clara and Yun li will activate their passive and do counter attack and adventurine just wait to do the counter attack lol.
honestly swapping adventurine for march (for aggro modification) would probably make her solo dps run much better)
I'm f2p and I use hypercarry Clara to 3 star moc 12 for 2nd half.
Would love the clara fu team but i didnt get aventurine. Though id say it.was worth as i got topaz, robin, fu xuan, and firefly with at most 45 spent for shards (not counting anual pass)
If change aven for march it would be more better since march shield make enemy attack clara and make march do a follow up attack as well even if she a single shield it still a friendly f2p choice if you dont have aven:3
Sparkle clara aven robin is a good one too. I however replace aven with lynx
Just to clarify, Dr Ratio on duo DPS team with Clara doesn't need his signature LC, because it doesn't really provide a debuff for him, just buffs for more dmg, so that's one thing off in this.

I actually run clara duo dps topaz except with lynx instead of aven, i use vonwaq? So lynx can move first alongside robin.... I still believe a preservation mess up the aggro many times
Clara is still good! she just doesn't have much synergy with preservation units (because of taunt) and ratio (mark of counter is not a debuff) so it can be a bit awkward when building a team around her. Also, most of her dmg is backloaded (like dot minus Kafka) so it's harder to control the amount of dmg she deals.
I still use her and it's still doing great :D!
She's actually really solid in pure fiction with units like jade.
I used to use clara in moc and once I got my ratio topaz team she’s just my main pure fiction team with herta 😂
Clara isn’t outdated per say, but unlike the best FUA team it seems that she doesn’t have “the best” team yet. Like:
March can aggro her but she freezes;
Robin boosts her but she looses the mark/ult and is not attacked for another turn;
Sparkle and Tingyun works fine but like you said, not on MoC and single target is terrible… I wish she gets more suitable teams and setups in the future!
Honestly I’m working on getting a “You’re not allowed to move” team, which I’m planning as Ratio, Topaz, Herta, and Adventurine just so we have a sustainer. I ran them in an event once and now I must have this team in game. The enemy moved like maybe twice.
the IP3 in general is a really powerful hunt combo. The only thing that makes me on the egde about the herta pick over a buffer is the fact that Ratio and Topaz don't have aoe, so Herta's follow-up won't get as much use as it possibly can
(Herta's follow up attack procs multiple times if multiple enemies fall below 50% hp in the same instance)
@@marshie5434 The team’s def still a WIP since I don’t have Topaz or Adventurine yet, I’m thinking of replacing Herta with someone else since she kinda is useless overall. I’m thinking Tingyun but I’m not positive yet since I still have time lol
@@LocalTiredArtist Could be an f2p buffer like Hanya for her SP economy or Yukong because her buffs are just insane. I got Hanya in my follow up team with the IP3 and I never run out of SP. It's amazing!
@@marshie5434 I’ve been experimenting with builds for both as of recent so I’ll def keep those on my radar. I much prefer Hanya over Yukons but that’s simply because most teams I build end up being skill point greedy and she helps negate some of that
Actually (not to be nerd here). I just put clara there as a solo, which is op in simulation. If you do path of elation or hunt. They're op af cuz there's no chance for her counterattacks
Me with Clara/Svarog Enhanced FUA, and Argenti boss has his "Shield Totem Buff" on.
Tldr: Clara preforms best with a lot of enemies or the enemy has a lot of turns and preforms worse when theres few enemies who move slow or don't attack frequently

Dr ratio feels like a more concentrated and controlled version of Clara so that’s why in most situations they are quite similar
Isn't Ratio free? so I think Clara is more premium to some and Ratio is premium to players who joined late or those who didn't claim him.
Been saying for ages that Clara is just a less intensive insert for Dr Ratio in the IPC Follow up for the low price of a little RNG. The damage is nearly the same, it removes the need for debuffs and eidolons on other team mates, making it a better budget option and it also it outperforms in AoE content. Great team for people that want the IPC Follow Up Team but aren't willing to pay the price to get it.
After all these days and months, Kafka is still my dps when her first banner popped up.
Nihility tends to be the only units you can stack multiple of and still be great. They're so future proof so they're always a good investment.

Oh damn I didn't know I was using the best Clara team this entire time. I don't have Robin so I used Bronya, and I have Luocha and Huohuo instead of Aventurine but that has been my go to team almost everywhere. 😅

The IPC FuA team is way different from how the FuA teams worked at the start of star rail so its unfair to compare them. Clara damage is mostly reactive instead of proactive like that team but still does really well. It's like comparing acheron debuff teams to Kafka dots teams.

I prefer using march 7th in the hypercarry team bcuz clara will have a 97.6% chance of being attacked w her shield and ult up if u dont have eidolons

It probably would have been even faster if you had used someone other than Aventurine as the sustain. I know he has followup synergy but him being a Preservation character steals aggro from Clara and will lower her DPS.
She is fine, but there is no meta where you want the enemy to actually come in turns (no puns intended) so until there is a meta wich requires you to take dmg full time job, she can fall of fast
Isn’t Clara + Blade an also viable duo? they’re both follow-uppers and can even use Izumo together... I saw this other day and looked ok
If you use lynx instead of adventurine you get a aggro buff so I personally think it's something to consider
So basically, Ratio, with his built in debuff and free stats, still didn't powercreep the character who even competed with Seele (back when she was top tier). Makes sense, theoretically infinite follow ups and pretty good multiplayers. She's also one of the best characters to lose 50/50 to as most of her eidolons significantly boost her. Even E1, her weakest buff, is good enough yo turn her into a viable hypercarry.
I really thought fu stands for FUK U team instead of follow up atk

Both are good but ruan mei better because she is support firefly good at dps

It's not even a coincidence. Yunli's gameplay is identical to Clara's (she's just much stronger).
Maybe you could be just a bit quicker with lynx and her increase agro in Clara? Plus with e4 she gives an atk buff to whoever she heals with her skill

Luocha is literally capable of keeping you and your team mate alive while also dishing out plenty of dps
Luocha dps is a bit copium ngl.
Clara is a "team filler", if you want you can use her as SP positive sub dps
She's not bad now... but look out for front half next patch😊

It should be something wrong. My team is Topaz, Ratio, Robin, Huohuo and easily to clear in 2 cycles, only Topaz e0s1, both ratio and topaz havr 140% crit dmg. Aven should be better here but you cleared in 3 cycles

Better have Aventurine next to Clara. Preservation characters have higher base aggro.
