Nelly is a former refugee and she had to flee from war in Bosnia to Austria when she was only 5 years old. Today's video is an emotional one for her as it is about FILIPINOS rescuing 1200 Jewish Lives! 💛
PS: apologies for the audio issues at 3:16-4:00 and 22:03-22:49 🙈 it was and audio error caused by TH-cam but it doesn't take away from the essence of the video 🙏🏼

ALLELUIA! Shalom brother Ronnie Holland. I am preaching to you The GREAT TRUTH About Our LORD GOD SAVIOUR. We all learned in The Holy Bible ,As A Great SAVIOUR HE Was Born in Israel HIS Chosen nation people speaking Hebrew. Definitely, HIS True Name Must Be HEBREW: YESHUA HA'MASHIAC, meaning: YESHUA The SAVIOUR. Every Name is Unique Absolutely NO TRANSLATION in any language. History proves that Israel was once conquered by the Roman empire (Rome ,Italy). Romans Burned the Original Hebrew Bible, created their own Bibles in several languages,Blasphemy! They CHANGED The True Name YESHUA into jesus christ: a name invented by the Roman pope who wanted to spread to the whole world, idolatry: the worship through images pictures that True GOD YESHUA Hate, idolatry sends people to Hell( Revelation 19 :20). Brother, CLEAR TRUTH is Perfectly Different from invention deception and BIG Lie. Brother, contemplate on This.. Our True GOD YESHUA is The GOD of TRUTH. HE Now Opened your understanding please harden not your heart please Believe for your SALVATION there's Great Assurance to Get into the HEAVENS of True GOD YESHUA. One day The CHURCH of HA'MASHIAC YESHUA Will reach in your place, in due time Serve Worship HIM Seriously together with your loved ones. In this world's end time difficulties ,chaos, wars, pandemic, problems, bondage of all sorts, temptations to do evil fears.. CALL Only The True Name YESHUA HA'MASHIAC and you'll be Saved. Please Brother Share This Great TRUTH to all people you know for their SALVATION. I am a preacher in the Philippines don't hesitate to ask questions anytime, my pleasure. Thank you brother. True GOD YESHUA Bless you brother and your family and loved ones.

True Christians love the Jewish race because our Lord Jesus Christ came from the tribe of Judah. Their journey to escape the Holocaust was providential. God lead them to the Philippines to preserve their identity. As Filipino I'm so thankful for their stay here until the UN declaration to get them back to their own homeland in Israel. Serving them in their adversity is one of the greatest privilege our country have done. The kindness that we shared them is nothing compared to the grace, mercy and loved we have received from their King Jesus Christ.

    Enjoy the Filipino hospitality.
I remember my officemate in Sydney
(Migrant from South Africa) when she was sent to Manila for training. She came back to Sydney after training and she said, "She wants to migrate and live in the Philippines". For one whole month after her return, she never stopped praising the country and the people.
I understand the feeling now hearing those Jews and Nelly speak why they found affinity with The Philippines.
Although we Filipinos have obnoxious habits, but because we are Christians, the compassionate heart of Christ still dominates our lives in dealing with other people more so with foreigners.

Actually, it wasn’t just the Jews that took refuge in the Philippines when their own country abandoned them. The Philippines also invited some of the Russians that were displaced from a war. The video is called Tobabao Odyssey. Very emotional also. Then their were the Vietnamese, our next door neighbor. During the Vietnamese war, some of them fled their country and crossed the S China Sea to take refuge in the Philippines. We know how hard life is and we are compassionate towards everyone. Everyone deserve to be loved, accepted, & treated with respect. We can only hope that people would treat Filipinos the same way. The Philippines even helped fight the Korean War in the dead of winter. Our soldiers weren’t used to the cold and their clothes weren’t all that appropriate in the winter since they came from a tropical country. And you know what, they fought thousands of Chinese in that war with only a few hundreds of them and they won! God must have been with them through out that battle. War is something that should not ever ever happen again. It’s evil, it’s devastating. But God has His hands on the Philippines, and they are under His protection. Even when the Spaniards enslaved the Philippines and even the US actually at one point, our people never hated Instead they are still welcoming. The Philippines is blessed by God with joy in their hearts and that is why they are always happy whether they have little or much. Something that some people do not have and always wonder why. God bless guys! 💕

Wow! It's overwhelming to know you treat our country as your home and adopting mother land. I was crying while watching but I'm very proud of President Manuel Quezon for his kindness. He had done a great job. I'm also proud that I'm a Filipino. In behalf of the Filipino, we are so happy that it's our country that God used in order to preserve God's people. I'm very grateful and flattered hearing all those words 😭.
Let's continue to do goodness to others especially in this pandemic.
Actually, I did pray for you and included Israel for my prayer lists.
    We love the Jewish people!

Oh, Nelly. You made me teary-eyed. Hugs and 🇵🇭 love to you. This is a beautiful reaction. And Mike, even your silence while Nelly was narrating her feelings was beautiful. You were not talking but you were visibly empathizing - and that was endearing. Thank you both for being genuine. There is only one race - the human race.

I've watched this so many times - I can't watch it without finding myself in tears! Every. Single. Time. I love the raw emotions that flowed through Nelly! Mike, you are such an awesome partner - just letting Nelly go through her emotions and your empathy is just amazing! THANK YOU for showing us what our culture and our people offer from your perspective. We don't always see it, in fact, we never see it. We always "look out our windows" to marvel at life and people outside the Philippines. We adore mostly things that does not represent who we are so having people like yourselves show us what precious country we have is just heartwarming. We Filipinos are hard on ourselves, we fall in the trap of self-pity at times and we fail to see the bigger picture. We long for a beautiful country but we forget to remember the simple acts of not littering our beautiful rivers and byways - but that's another story... ha! THANK YOU for making us remember who we are and for "making it happen" as always! "Stay Awesome" indeed applies to you too!
