Great Video. Helped solve my problem worn belt squeel without the need for special tools to tension the Eccentric pulley wheel. The only error in your video is that the adapter should be 3/8 to 1/4 NOT 1/2 to 3/8. Otherwise spot on.
8:08 up until 8:22 ... how?? I've tried everything and the belt just won't go under the tensioner roller!! In the video at first it looks like he has the same problem as I do but then he magically stretched the belt to go under the tensioner... Please heeelp!! I'm soo close but yet sooo far from auxiliary drive belt DIY replacement :(
Hi tuto, I have a nast rattle/ticking noise on the same car and this could be a possible reason, Car has had a recent oil/filter change, I am wondering how long this took in all? Trying to work out labour costs if this is the problem Cheers
Don't get why bolt is tightened and then tightened a further 50 degrees plus then make sure it's a certain nm, why not just say tighten to the torque of 190 in the first place

De verdad, muchísimas gracias!
Super claro.
what special tools to tension the Eccentric pulley wheel are used to remove the auxiliary belt
why did you lock the tensioner roller for ?
I don't understand why.
Outside is a bearing inside is not so lock the center and outside spins

You have to lift and lock the tensioner, or hold it by hand in loaded position while you fit the belt.
Yeah just lift tensioner and slide bolt in to lock it 👍👍👍

You mean 1/4 socket wrench grip which is 6,3 mm - not 3/8 ?
it is great videos but can some one tell me what must i do to fix a waterleak at back of water pump
Ew10j4 engine ?
Why do you need to lock a flywheel if you work with a drive belt? It makes sense only if you work with a timing belt...
To undo the fly wheel nut. Otherwise fly wheel will just turn.
Locks the crankshaft, so you can use a ratchet if you don't have a super powerful gun or space to use a gun
