Here's a video on how to do a three point turn, which is basically a U turn, but with an extra maneuver (or even more, depending on the width of the street). In this case I show only the three points, but if you have a longer car or if the street is narrower, you might have to repeat the steps of turning the wheel completely to the left, moving forward as much as you can, turning it to the right completely, backing up as much as you can and so on.
Note: While I try to make my videos as universal as possible, rules and laws may vary according to the place where you’re driving and might be different from the ones in this video. Always drive according to the laws and rules that apply to the place where you are driving. Requirements at the driving exam may also be different than the ones shown here. Always respect the requirements that apply to the place where you are passing your driving exam. This video is not meant to replace your official driving courses.

Passed on my first try here in NYC! examiner told me to parallel park and to back up and do a k turn all at one time. Aced it! Test was no longer than 6 mins and yes I watched all your videos no driving school for me!

I'm about in the same boat as you right now. How have things gone for you in these 5 months?
I think you should mention when to signal and in which direction, just to be safe and sure youve included everything. So signal to the right, then signal left , then signal right again as youre backing up, and then left again to go the opposite direction.
AbsoluteXero i agree most videos ive seen have done this only signaling twice i failed my test cuz i didnt signal for the whole 3 point turn.
Signal based on where you are turning. For me that’s the easiest and the hardest is knowing which direction I’m turning. I’m excited to master this skill
I think he did mention of indicators first right to curb then forwarding left indicator

These videos are so helpful in providing techniques and insight on how to do your verifications for each maneuver. Thank you so much for making such great videos on driving!! For those of you who are going to take your road test, I wish you the best of luck. It’s really not as bad as it seems even though you’ll feel super nervous. Once you get on the road, you’ll be fine as long as you practiced and know what you’re doing👍🏼

most important thing is to watch cars coming from behind you since they often think you want to stop and overtake you before there is a chance of indicating left.
I watched this video concerned about my son’s exam here in Ga. They even didn’t test him on the 3 point turn. I was happy that he passed on his first try. Exam was less than 30 minutes.

i’m in drivers ed and we’ll be doing this monday, it really helps to know what it looks like before i try it
i’ll be coming back when i take my driving test in may and i’ll be able to get my license by july if i pass and possibly a car so i have a mode of transportation that’s not my mom for college and such, i just really wanted to share my happiness with people :))

I'm im Brooklyn and I failed my first road test today. I went over the yellow line while trying to do a 3 point turn. My nerves got the best of me 😩🤣. It's okay tho. I know I wasn't gnna pass on the first try. Just wanted to see what it was like, get the nervousness out. I'll pass the second time (hopefully lol) or the third. I love watching your videos
time out wym you went over the yellow line? Are we not suppose to get as close to the opposite side as possible ? Then reverse until your side mirror is aligned with the yellow line?

Can you only do 3 point turns on two lane streets? Can you do one on the right side of the road?
On the driving test, it is REQUIRED to pass. In a main street, you should use signals but I guess you could get away with not using them if nobody's around. I would use my signals anyway cause it's a habit to click them on whenever I'm turning.

it is hard to reverse using mirrors... you see the distance between cars using mirrors . if u want to reverse you better look back .

Passed my test watching this but my instructor told me for those of you taking it as you signal next to the curb you have to look over your shoulders !! They take points off for that !! Hope that helps

That's what I keep asking myself. Here it's allowed only for "essential drivers". On the road driving courses have been suspended too.

This is in Portugal. The yellow line rule is not the same there. The streets are separated by white lines whether they're one way or two ways.
